Its true Junior Nation, if your man doesn't get his way then its cheating or someone else is cheating and then you throw temper tantrums by throwing trash on the track! What a great way to represent the Earnhardt name.

The Indy Racing League now features three female racers - Danica Patrick, Milka Duno, Sarah Fisher – but NASCAR still does not have a single female driver. How long before we see a female driver compete in NASCAR?

Will Dale Earnhart Jr. Team up with Jeff Gordon?

There immature acts piss me off so much. I mean the ones who did that give the other Jr. fans a bad name. What kind of sick people do that to someone when they have success. Just because he tied Earnhardt's record and beat it doesn't give people the right to do it. I hope Jr. joins Hendrick just to b i tc h slap the ignorant Jr. fans.

I'm an old school NASCAR fan. Tim Richmond was my favorite driver (and a personal family friend - so please keep the comments positive). The movie Days of Thunder was based on Tim Richmond and moreoverly, his crew chief Harry Hyde (played as Harry Hogg by Robert Duvall) and the Quaid brother played Rick Hendricks. I know a lot of things that happened in the movie happened in real life, but how many can you add to my list?

1. Tim showed up to Ponoco to test drive on his Harley
2. Tim and Harry fought a lot because Tim didn't know technical terms
3. Thanks to friends at HMS, I've learned that the state trooper pull over really did happen on the way home from Michigan
4. Tim was part of the first two car Hendricks team
5. Tim did race Indy cars and did have the tire problem that Harry worked with him on
6. The pass on the outside to win
7. The ice cream incident
8. Engaged to a doctor before he died

OK, How many more scenes were real that you can share?

and how much cheating do you think they will do to their cars? Also, does anyone know if the drivers will be the crew chiefs in the race? It should be a lot of fun and you know they all want to win for bragging rights.

I don't get it, I really don't understand why people have to be so condesending and rude in their answers.

I'm not even talking about the razzing that goes on about other drivers (like shaggy10 said, sometimes it's just good ol teasing to get another fan's dander up)

But I'm talking about making fun of or replying rudley to questions or other fans answers.

David B I wish you would just answer a question to the best of your knowledge and that's it, why do you have to insult everyone?

Who else is tired of this cr@p?

they did screw up a couple of times but so did hamlin, i notice that he did'nt call to replace himself for his screwups. how many more races will he be able to blame on other people. the great one's, earnhart, stewart, gordon, johnson, have all had bad pit stops, and came back many times to win. i do not see hamlin ever being anything but another never was . just like kahne.

I love Jeff Gordn and strongly dislike tony stewart, the bush brothers, and Jimmy johnson. tony Stewart is a jerk and is way to agressive on the track much like Kyle Bush. Jimmie Johnson is Jeffs partner but always leaves him out to dry when he needs help. And Kurt bush is just a whiner. And I'm sick of fans hating on Jeff because he is the BEST and although i have nothing against Dale Jr his fans need to calm down!!!!

That Mark Martin resembles that rat, Splinter, from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ???

P.S. I'm NOT doubting his abilities to handle a race car, just trying to settle a disagreement between my sister and me.

From NASCAR News:awaiting Dale Jr.'s next move

He wants to win championships, and Hendrick seems to be the place to do it. Winners of eight of the past nine races, the organization is the best in NASCAR right now. But all four of its drivers are under contract, and Hendrick is not looking to dump any of them.

Casey Mears, struggling through his first season, is the most expendable driver, if Hendrick wants to make room for Earnhardt. But many feel Mears deserves a chance to make it in the organization.

It also is not the most natural fit for Earnhardt.

Hendrick drivers are taught to be polished, politically correct and arrive at events in starched shirts and slacks. That could be tough for Earnhardt, whose wardrobe seems to consist of wrinkled white T-shirts.
LMAO I LOVE IT!!!

Just because Jeff almost has as many wins as Dale Sr and Dale Jr combined (78 to 93) and Jeff is a far better driver than Junior, is no reason why we all can't get along and be friends.
What do you say ?.....Friends ?

I get harrased all the time by my family for being a NASCAR fan, so I get these jokes all the time
NASCAR Samaritans

There were three NASCAR fans on their way to a race, when they see an accident on the side of the road so they pull over! They go to help the victim, but they realize she is naked, so they take off their hats. The first guy was a Earnhardt fan, and put his hat over her left breast. The second guy was a Elliot fan, and put it over her right breast!! The last guy was a Waltrip fan, and put his hat over her crotch.
When the police arrived, the officer looks at the girl and goes to evaluate. He first picks up the Earnhardt hat, puts it back down and writes something down. He does the same with the Elliot hat. Then he picks up the Waltrip hat and puts it down then picks it up again. He does this several times until the Waltrip fan says, "What are you? Some kind of pervert?"

The officer replies, "No, I just usually find an asshole under one of these hats."

I think the top 35 rule stinks! The fastest 43 cars should race. Period. We were told that the top 35 rule would insure that the top (most popular) drivers and the sport's committed sponsors would be at the track racing. We were told that they needed the protection. I have a question: haven't NAPA and UPS been committed high profile sponsors? Who are bigger names: Dale Jarrett and Michael Waltrip... or J.J. Yeley and David Stremme? My point is not that D.J or Mikey "deserve" to race every race , but that they do deserve to race when they out qualify seven or eight of the "top 35" teams. The top 35 rule has outlived it's usefullness. If Gordon or Jr. or anybody else fails to qualify, then so be it.
Qualifying would be much more dramatic if it actually meant something. Let's begin to take this sport back in the direction of being a sport. Am I wrong?

Not the race team. I heard he's actually going to drive a garbage truck for Waste Management next year, beacause that's about all he's qualified to do.

i'm asking this because i think that dei should have been left to Dale Earndhart Jr.

2007-05-16 05:05:51 · 7 answers · asked by Joe B 1

I think so. This is not putting jet fuel in an engine, these are bolts in plain sight. NASCAR knows DEI is finished, and making junior pay the price. Should we boycott six races? I'm beginnning to think Tony Stewart was right about the WWF stuff.
