There is no doubt Denny Hamlin is, and will be, a major force to be reckoned with in the present and future, but I'm not sure how Jr. or Gordon have anything to do with it; besides maybe advice. Each driver has to come into NASCAR his own way. Jeff did it through the Busch series as did Jr. and many others. I do know one thing...Denny better watch his tone after the race, or there will be a lot of fans saying he is a whiner just like they say about Gordon (which he isn't). Oh, and I agree, Hamlin had the best car...but the best car doesn't always win.

Dale Jr. isn't that good of a driver. His dad is obviously one of the best drivers ever and when Dale Sr. passed he took all of his fans. Gordon and Johnson are going to go 1-2 to win the Nextel cup for Rick Hendrix. Hamlin has some skill and has a good car in Gibbs racing but you forget that his teamate Stewart is yet to win so Hamlin won't be able to keep up the big three.

I'll admit Denny is good; but he needs to learn how to close the deal. His youth and immaturity have cost him more wins then his Pit Crew. Crucifing his Pit Crew instead of forgiving them and allowing them to work out their issues will bite him in the backside if he keeps it up.
I like the Kid; but if he keeps publicly chastizing his Pit Crew and Team I'll start losing respect for him. He is an up and coming Young Gun; but if he keeps up this Primadonna bit he may find himself a talented Driver with no fans like Kurt Busch.

Denny's day is coming. I think he has alot of talent and it shows. I am a great Hendrick fan but I tend it cheer against drivers or owners more often for any one driver. I would have loved to see Dave Markis win his last race, same with D.W.

lots of the drivers who have been lively in Cup between 1998 & 2003, automobiles in ninety 8-ninety 9, & Busch in 'ninety 8-00. those are the years I labored @The Glen. maximum of my job substitute into getting them on & off the music in one piece & I have been given to be precise there with them. best job I ever had, and not have been given paid for. First one I had a real communique with substitute into King Richard. particularly stunning, right down to earth guy.

He is certainly an up and coming star and an excellent driver... All drivers go through a slump period, so it will be interesting to see how he handles that when his time comes
