Maybe Jeremy Mayfield had some valid points about his frustrations he had with Ray Evernham. He has been more focused on Erin Crocker than the success of his race teams for well over a year now. Back in the day all Ray was concerned with was setups and figuring out how to take the rules as far as you could. He was also an innovator with how teams perform on pit stops and getting each crew member to live up to their highest potential but that just doesn't seem to matter as much as it once did to him.

Their performance has been a real let down this year. At the end of last year, Scott Riggs was running the new motor package and he had strong runs, they just couldn't get the finishes they wanted. Now, they aren't even having strong runs. They'll click somewhere down the line, i just don't know how long that line is.

***When Ray Evernham, president and CEO, founded Evernham Motorsports in 1999, the mission was to lead Dodge back into prominence in NASCAR’s elite racing series and field competitive teams.***

Well what happened?

I mean, things don't look good in their camp right now. I was really looking forward to Elliott Sadler going strong like Kasey, but even Kasey has been dragging this year. I'm thinking Jeremy was right in his decision to leave. (he just forgot to leave to a winning team...but......that's another story)

bad luck and the changes made to the nose have the car off balance ,i dont understand why they made the change they seemed to run fine last season and to the moron big rick dodge is not allowed to run the hemi it was made illegal years ago thats why dodge pulled out of racing for so long ,its still not allowed today which is a shame because the hemi and petty dominated before it was deemed illegal

3 words- ERIN COCKER DISTRACTION. he got too focused on her and forgot about his team. Hopefully they turn it around soon. Kasey and Elliott hasn't done horribly in qualifying, they just cant get the finishes.
