In 2006, Junior made $5.9 million from driving, and $20 million from endorsements and product sales. He may get $10 million offered from some owners, probably less than that from owners who know they have what Junior really wants, great equipment and a chance to win.

He was making $20 million as a driver this year. I don't think Junior is concerned on how much money he can get out of his free agency. I think he is more focused on trying to win races and championships. Plus he makes more money in endorsements than driving a race car.
