The contract is has a stipulation that If Dale Jr. isnt there the contract is void...Bud will follow Jr. where ever he goes.

Budweiser has a contract with DEI but it is up at the end of this season, so they will go with him. As far as the number, DEI owns the 8 so ... 08 or 03 would be good.

Actually he will most likely still be driving the Budweiser car since Budweiser doesn't belong to DEI. The sponsors can go to whatever company and car they want and Budweiser has chosen to stay with Jr.

I heard the VISA is really interested in him, if Bud can't go along with him. VISA is a huge company that can probably fork out the money to at least make him give them a long thought. But Budweiser is gonna do everything in its power to keep him. He means way to much to them.
#33 most likely can't think of other numbers that he can get that he would like that doesnt belong to other things.
He should try to get #08 so all his fans just have to "modify" their tattoos.

Wrangler and then move right into the Goodwrench car. sound familiar.
The 3 is waiting for him. I know if the 6 is owned by Mike Dee, 7 is owned by Robby Gordon and DEI ownes the 8 and I would think that would cost him some money to get it from them.

My guess is that one of the secondary sponsors would step up to the plate. Menards, Wrangler, Sharpie just to name a few. I personally would like to see a Bud Light / Bud Select Car.

The sponsership with Budweiser ALSAOI ends this season and Bud wil more than likely stay with JR..noo matter what team he goes to and as for the # it just depends on the team he goes to IF he goes toRCR they all ready said #33

They are locked in until 08'. I think they will stick with him. But I guess if there would be a change...uh how about Coke, or Mountain Dew...or soon to be available UPS or NAPA since those guys suck.

UPS, at least we would get to race, seeing that Dale Jarrett can't seem to make the race. It would be cool to see Jr race the truck, but than my 5yr old would really think his Mom would be out of a job. Signed, a UPS driver and Dale Jr fan!
