Actually, in response to your "three powerful drivers", Hendrick Motorsports has three powerful drivers now! Kyle Busch is ahead of Dale Earnhardt Jr. as of today in points.
So, that would make "four powerful drivers" and I firmly believe that Hendrick would be the best place for Dale's future. If Dale wants to win championships, he ought to go with the best organization and that is HMS.
Dale is the most popular driver so I believe he ought to go to the best organization. HMS can work something out since Casey Mears is signed on with HMS and they are limiting the teams to max of 4. They could work it out.
I believe it is a big mistake to keep talking about # 3 and Dale Sr. and Richard Childress. To keep tying Dale Jr. to his dad does Dale Jr. a disservice. He needs to be his own man, his own driver and have people stop urging him to be like, race like, win like and act like his father.
It would be a horrible decision to go to Richard Childress' organization. Hendrick is the perfect fit. If Dale is smart, he will give HMS full attention to what Rick Hendrick offers. Heck, just watching Jeff Gordon win another race with a Hendrick engine that was overheating and had the temperature gauge pegged for so long should convince Dale Jr. that HMS has a big edge in technology. Go with the winners, Dale!

Dale Jr.'s addition to Hendricks Motorsports would definately make them the most dominate team for years to come; no question. Jeff, Jimmy, Kyle, and Jr. would make an unstoppable combination.
As for a Fan monopoly. I do believe Hendricks would have 70% or greater of the NASCAR Fans. I don't think this will effect how many people will watch; in fact I think it will increase.
I do believe some Jr. Fans will end their Jeff bashing if the two became Teammates; however I know that there will still be those who will continue their bashing of Jeff and Jimmy no matter what.
I do believe however Jr. will lose some fans if he goes to Hendrick. Many of his Fans are Fans of his Father and to them Hendricks is a four letter word. They will see this move as a betrayal.
Budweiser is stuck with DEI and with it rumored that Jr. might be picked up by Visa; I strongly doubt that angery Junior Fans will throw their Visa cards onto the track; thus Jr. will lose the Budweiser faithful.

People think that Hendrick is paying off NASCAR now. If Hendrick had all of that power on its side, I don't think there would be anyone who could stop them. I think that it would be a great move if Hendrick could pull off getting Jr. I think Hendrick would be a great move for Jr. But, I don't see how they call pull it off without letting one of the other 2 go. As far as watching NASCAR goes, as it is now, Hendrick had the monopoly anyway, they have on 8 of 11 this year and people are still watching. As far as hating on Jimmie and Jeff, I am a huge Jimmie fan, with Jr as my backup guy so I am not sure what would happen there. I think people are going to hate or like who they want no matter what happens. It will be interesting to see how things play out!!

Like the way anybody goes to another team after not being happy with the first team he was with. It's NOT a big deal like fans are making it out to be. People will not stop "hating" on Jimmie and Jeff. It's a natural thing to do now. They will always be viewed as cocky and arrogant, even with Junior on the team.
I actaully like Junior and Jeff, root for JR. more, but I would only have a problem with Jimmie and Dale being teammates. I could easily see Jr and Jeff being teammates. I can see Junior at HMS and bringing an likeability to them and HMS bringing an competitive side to Junior fans haven't seen yet.
I know I wouldn't change my dislikes and likes. No, because HMS aren't guranteed every race. They just are on a dominant streak, right now.
HMS can make room for Junior without losing their drivers. Ginn Racing is a big part of HMS, apparently and they can move either Junior there with HMS full car related stuff or move one of the HMS (Mears or Kyle Busch) to Ginn and Junior runs out of HMS.
This pairing is more realistic in the goals he wants. I doubt he will go to Gibbs and the RCR thing is more fans sentiment to the fact his father drove for Richard than actually facts. He wants to make his own legacy, not chase a ghost.

They would seem to have 95% of the fans and they are winning about that many races too. I just wonder who Hendrick would get rid of because in 2 years he will have to be down to 4 teams. Jeff, Jimmie, and Kyle are signed up long term and I think Mears may have gotten a deal that will take him past the 4 team rule. RCR and Gibbs have only 3 each so they would have room for him. RCR is the sentimental favorite. I hear that Visa wants to sponsor his car.

It would only benefit NASCAR if Jr. went to Hendrick. If he only had that HMS power then we'd really see how much talent Jr. actually has. It's sad to see Jr. not enjoy racing right now seeing that it's all he knows. The people at Hendricks thrive on bringing the best out of the drivers and crew so Jr. going there would be the smartest choice in my book. As for RCR I don't wanna see him drive the 3 car because I agree with Jr. that it's his daddy's legacy. And he hasn't proved himself to be worthy of driving it yet. I would love to see him drive it later down the road if his resume has championships to back him up.

I already think teams in Nascar are wrecking the sport. I see this going bad in the next few years. They should limit the amount of cars teams can put out there. If Dale was to go to Hendrik and it stayed the way it is but just added him... I would say it would be all but like three races Hendrik didn't win each year. The Limit should be 3... no more. Just to add to my proposal.

I am a Dale Earnhardt Jr fan and I will tell you that IF Jr went to HMS he will lose a lot of respect that most of his fans have for him. I dont know why, but Dale Jr fans and Jeff Gordon fans do not see eye to eye.
I would stop watching NASCAR if Jr went to HMS. I think him leaving DEI is the right thing to do, but I think if he signs with HMS that would be like selling out to his fans!
And for the record if Jr did sign with HMS It would only make me hate Jeff and Jimmie MORE!!!

I think that would be hard for a lot of people they mostly like Jeff or the like Jr not both ( that's just me) I like both but not a lot of people do I don't think it would effect Jimmie very much but I think that would DEF> be the most liked or the most hated team but I don't think someone would dis like Jeff because Jr came to his team I just think they would learn to like Jr more!

It would be an interesting trifecta, that's for sure, but I really don't expect to see Junior teaming up with Hendrick Motorsports. I honestly think Junior's going to go to Joe Gibbs. If he does, that will certainly shake things up, because you would have Stewart, Hamlin and Junior all on the same team. It might make NASCAR interesting to watch again.
Happy racing everyone!
