If they don't then NASCAR should never give out another fine for crew cheif violations or anything.Busch should sit at least 1 race.Kevin Harvick was suspended for 1 race a few years ago but he didn't endanger someone's life.

I have noticed that everyone is concerned with Gibbs, Hendrick and Ginn Racing teams. They all say Jr is going with Gibbs...What about RCR, what is Richard Childress saying about all this.

Here's what I think is going to happen:
1- RCR will announce that Dale Jr will be driving a #3 or #8(I think that he will buy the number from Teresa) Black Car
2-RCR will be buying out Budweiser's contact from DEI and announce that it will be Jr's new sponser for the car number that RCR chooses for Jr.
3-All this will be announced at where else but--DAYTONA!!!!
Kelly said she wanted something done by the end of July.
And there you go, thats my opinion on that.

Yes I am a JR Fan and a loyal one at that. Teresa is making a huge mistake in the way that she is taking that whole operation.

The last live airing on free (over-the -air) t.v. happened monday on Fox until september. I feel that nascar is trying to boost ticket sales at the track,at the expense of the armchair fan. In the meantime they are selling us(armchair fans) out for the pay-t.v. revenue. This move,in my mind, dilutes the meaning of the final point chase. It cheap'ns the whole series. Has nascar sold out to the media? Is this the beginning of the end?

To see Ray Evernham get behind the wheel of a race car?
To have Juan Pablo Montoya and Ryan Newman settle their differences - without running for points, in
cars their respective teams don't have to repair?

The Nextel Prelude to the Dream at Eldora Speedway, organized by track owner Tony Stewart, is set to roll tonight with over two dozen famous Nextel Cup stars trying their hands on the tricky dirt oval. Located in tiny Rossburg,
Ohio, about an hour north of Dayton, the half-mile track banked 24 degrees in the turns will play host to 2,300-lb cars running over 800 horsepower. And behind the wheel? Names like Kasey Kahne, Montoya, Gordon, Kevin Harvick, Denny Hamlin, and so much more. The list also includes drag racing
superstars Cruz Pedragon and Ron Capps, trading straight-line racing for turning left as they compete against the NASCAR faithful.

I know NASCAR wants to give cable some of the air time for events but I like Fox broadcasts the best! At least this year the other 1/2 season is only on TNT and not NBC.

I am still trying to find out what the teams pay the drivers. We never get contract details like you hear from the MLB, NBA etc. What does Tony get paid? How about Jeff?

So, NASCAR, is safety a priority? If so, Kurt Busch should be suspended for a minimum of two races. His pit-road hissy fit must be dealt with swiftly and leave no room for misinterpretation.

And a six-digit fine, the loss of owner and driver points and being placed on super-secret double probation citing Section 12-4-A (actions detrimental to stock car racing) of the series rule book ain't gonna to cut it.

Should Nascar keep putting up these 1 1/2 mile tracks? I think they would be better off building another track like Richmond or a Bristol. Need to get back to their roots. These cookie-cutter are not really racing, more like follow the leader. What do you think?

Take a guess.
10 points to whoever guesses the right answer first.
If nobody guesses the correct answer, the first person who named the runner up driver wins.
Question will be open until after Ponoco qualifying.

Just because Dale Jr. is leaving everyone thinks that DEI is going to go under. Sure it hurts losing the most popular driver in NASCAR, but he isnt the best DRIVER in the sport. Truex just won a race and has been running strong, and Menard is a rookie who they still have to work the kinks out, but as of right now DEI has the 13th place in Truex and 15th in Dale Jr. At the end of the season, they both will probably be in the chase. They only have one win, but winning isnt everything in this sport. Consistency is what you need, and lately they have been getting. They are building consistent cars and are right in the thick of things. What are your opinions?
