You guys rip on her but actually she isn't doing badly at all, she's a solid top ten driver and regularly beats some good drivers, pretty much every week actually.

She can come to NASCAR if she can drive a stock car. Testing with an owner would determine that. Maybe she'd be better in a stock car, who knows? Sam Hornish is awesome in an Indy car and isn't much to talk about in a stock car... Different driving styles fit different series and cars better than others. None of you know if she could drive a car in NASCAR or not. She's clearly a better racer than any of you are giving her credit for whether or not she's overhyped, she does have some ability to drive.

Maybe in time, but for right now the IRL needs her much more than NASCAR does. IRL was a dying series before she came into the picture. Sure she has looks and makes money from endorsements because she is a woman and she isnt bad to look at. I dont blame her one bit for doing it. She got to the point she is right now by racing her way there. Not by her looks. She was the first woman to lead at the Indy 500 and ran strong this year as well. As for not being able to handle a bump, I would like to see how some of the NASCAR drivers would handle a bump in one of those little cars too. HUGE difference from taking a hit in an Indy car and a stock car. Give her some slack. She does have talent and who knows where she will go down the road, but right now she fits in the IRL.

I have two problems with Danica joining NASCAR. The first is that in the history of NASCAR only one Driver has made the successful transition from Open Wheel Racing into NASCAR and that is Tony Stewart. There is a long list of Drivers who have tried to make the transition and failed.

Danica has been good in Indy with alot of Top Tens, and some Top Fives; but she has failed to get into Victory Lane. Though she might be able to make the transition to NASCAR, history is very much against her; considering far better Open Wheel Drivers have failed in the past.

Second problem I have with Danica coming to NASCAR is the way her and IRL have had her posing in lingerie and swimsuits to promote IRL. Yes, she is a very beautiful woman, but to parade her around in lingerie and swimsuits is a cheap circus act and something I do not want to see in NASCAR. NASCAR is about racing not lingerie/swimsuit calenders. There are alot of up and coming Women in Racing who don't use their bodies to promote their careers and for Danica to do so is shameful for her and disgraceful for the IRL.

No, she hasn't proven anything yet except that she likes to stomp her feet, throw her helmet, cry or push people when she gets mad or frustrated over racing incidents.

Hey jefflawdog, you say Danica is a solid top 10 driver. O.K., I'll give you that but out of how many drivers total, 20? Out of those 20 how many have a legitimate chance to win week in and week out? Right, she's a middle of the pack driver with a chance every week for about a 5th place finish.

You just never know how people adapt to things. Look at Denny Hamlin. The guy jumps in a Cup car and he’s awesome from the start. Other guys it takes a year, takes two years, some people never figure it out. It just depends on the driver and how quickly they adapt to a big racecar

I've never drove a stock car in my life, but I think I would be a better driver than her in NASCAR, and I'm female. I wouldn't whine and cry like a little baby. It would be so much fun and you would get paid anyhow something - which is still more than the average American citizen - so why throw hissy fits?

No keep her in IRL and take back juanpablo as well---what a pain in the a*s*s. And if she wanted to be taken seriously for her racing then stay out of playboy---as for erin crocker, tell her keep your crab-infested wazoo away from the boss and someone might think someday you're a true racer instead of another dumbazz ho that thinks she can drive with the big guys. LOL

She is racing in NASCAR, she drives the #24 Chevy. She just doesn't wear the wig and makeup in the DuPont car :^O

Hell no, we don't need her in NASCAR. She hasn't even proven herself in Indy yet. She couldn't even take a little bump from behind, can you imagine what would happen if she got bumped in NASCAR? All hell would probably break loose. They don't need that headache in NASCAR, they have enough of their own problems right now, no need to deal with all her baggage as well.
