That is from the exhaust and suspension pieces scraping the track.

The bottom of the car's bottoming -out on the pavement. Some teams run a shorter or a weaker spring which makes the car dip hard under hard braking or cornering etc. but usually air pressure builds up in the tires just enough to keep the bottom of the car off the track like mark b. said. Some track's you'll see car's "sparking" in the corners for a few laps until pressure builds up.

I was at qualifying once at Talladega and the Tunnel is under turn 4. The pavement has settled over the tunnel making two humps. When there's only one car on the track you can actually hear and see a 'crunch-crunch' when they go over the 'tunnel-turn'. Pretty crazy.

The sparks are from different parts such as Sway bars and shock mounts dragging. When the cars go down the straightaways, the motors builds so much torque that u see the front come up... then while braking for the corner and soft spring rates the body is sucked to the ground .. this helps the car to turn easier.

It's the car bottoming out especially in the corners and when the tire pressure is still low. Most of the time it's the exhaust dragging, cause it's the lowest part on the car. You'll see it best at night at Lowes Motor Speedway

The sparks are where the cars are bottoming out on the track. This could be the set up or track conditions(high spots) or even the drivers line of entry to a specific part of the track.

Its when the cars are going into the turns, if there are sparks comeing out from under the car it means that the cars are bottoming out in the corners

the sparks you see coming from the bottom of the cars are the cars "bottoming-out." Depending on how low the car's setup is, the car will hit the track surface, causing sparks to shoot from underneath.

The front springs are so soft that when they turn down onto the aprion the frame will drag causing sparks.

They bottom out from low tire pressure, right after pit stops. It goes away after a few laps when air pressure in the tires built up from the heat.
