Yes, without a doubt there should be a road course if not more. Road courses is part of the NASCAR circuit and there for should be apart of the chase to the cup.
Why run around in circles "so to speak" for the cup? Let's keep the action going and give every fan a race they like. I sure don't want to see it get to a given point and say, "Ok, no more tri-ovals from this point. We're just gonna do all drag races." Let's keep it real, and all the options open and have fun with it!
Boogity boogity boogity, lets go racin"

They actually race on 2 road courses during the regular season so I would like to see them race on 1 during the chase. They need to mix it up so that the champion has proven their versatility and worthiness of winning the cup. The road courses are a great challenge and adding one to the chase would make drivers work on getting better if they have struggled on them in the past.

Absolutely. They are at 2 road courses in the year.
They are not just for fun they are point paying races.
I think there should be more than two in the year also. Make em turn right every so often.
In matter of fact I am surprised that they don't run the Daytona road course once a year. They could still just about get the same seat count. Maybe take a race from out west and put it there.

Yes Yes Yes. And they should run more than 2 races a year on the road courses. For all you fans that think "it's not real Nascar racing", well yes it is. Nascar used to run more road course races back in the day. If you say that road course races are boring then that probably means your driver sucks at them. Gordon and Stewart fans like them. I think they should have 4 road course races so they can use those specially built cars for more than just 2 races, with just one road course race in the Chase. Nascar claims to have the best drivers in the world, well they should have to prove it on every kind of race track.

The chase represents a mini season. During the regular season they have a road race. Whomever wins the chase should be a well rounded driver-be able to win on any course. Would it be fair not to represent what the regular season looks like? I think not!

The fact that NASCAR runs a road corse warrents one in the chase. But with the schedule as it is there is very little room to move the races around.
I personally would like to see NASCAR pick up one of the larger DIRT tracks(Springfield or DuQuoin) and see how some of the drivers handle them.

I think the same as you do. They should race on every style of track in the Chase as they do during regular season. Mix them all in. Super speedways, short tracks, road courses, boxed type (Indi.), and triangle (Pocono). You need to prove you are a worthy champion by staying consistent, no matter what the track.

Yes indeed, they race on road courses twice for the first 26 races, I say they add one for the Chase, add in some more variety to test those drivers. From what I remember, a big portion of Chase races are on those 1.5 mi. trioval tracks anyways, even though they have their differences, they're still not very different.
I mean, we got a restrictor-plate track, 2 short tracks, one 1 mi. flat track, I say we should have a race course in there somewhere, replace one of them trioval tracks.

You got it together INDIANA! I agree, road courses should be a part of the entire season. As others said, it is a test of skill as well.
Otherwise why don't we just stop and run all the races at Atlanta and just be done with it. Forget about those of us who love the trill and action of road courses like Walkins Glynn.
Shame on you all! lmao

I'm with Indiana, my vote says YES! Let's liven up the chase and toss in the towel to some for the oval tracks. In fact, I like to see them take it to the dirt and get stuck in the sand every so often!
