Cheverolet Rules !!

2007-06-06 02:45:31 · answer #1 · answered by David G, Jeff Gordon Rules !!!!! 7 · 1 3

NO. Toyota's 'made in America' is nothing but smoke and mirrors. Toyota is a Japanese company period. Nothing Toyota has ever made has ever been cool. Good car's...yes. But let's face it, only aunt's and grandma's would buy a Toyota Camry. No true car guy would be caught dead in one. There trucks are butt ugly and the old Celica's are girl cars.
There's no Supra anymore either.
If Toyota brought back a Supra with a 5.7 V8 and rear wheel drive then I might give some kind of nod to them but that'll never happen.
The Ford Fusion is a joke but I have alot of respect for Ford. Look at all they've done. The Mustang alone is a worldwide icon. Dodge was always quirky but they always had unique and neat body styles. Chevy........Chevy rules.
I'm just waiting to see some Toyota Nascar V8's showing up in some old Chevy's at car shows and the drag-strip since it's basically a Chevy motor anyway. Atleast in the mounting points and the fact a Chevy transmission bolts right up to it.

I accept change and Toyota's entry into Nascar but give me a break........ .......USA1

Yes, actually I would still be a Jr. fan. On the street the Camry's actually a nice looking car and looks a hell of a lot better than the Fusion(hell I owned a 99 Taurus, and 96-99 have got to be the ugliest years for the Taurus, and I still think the Fusion's ugly). Oh BTW to the first person posting only the Fusion's built in Mexico, the Monte Carlo and Charger are built in Canada, not sure about the Impala/Avenger though.

Yes, I still would be a Gordon Fan. I am a Fan of the Driver not the car. I have said this many times before and I will say it many more times still; with Toyota making more cars in America then Ford and Chevy combined it's time those Workers had their work represented in NASCAR and I think it would be great for Toyota and it's AMERICAN Workers to have a Marquee Driver like Jeff Gordon representing them.

The car's only part of the race. There is the team, the crew, the owner, and of course the driver. Can't answer for anyone else but I would still be a Jeff Gordon fan. I've watched him come up through the ranks, he's good in whatever he drives.

I personally don't care if Jr. switched to a huffy bicycle, I would still be a fan. I think he should just go with whoever gets him closer to a championship. I also think Gordon has the talent to get wins no matter what he is driving, I am not a huge fan of his, but the guy can drive.

yeah,
it doesnt matter what car Jeff Gordon drives
he'll still end up in victory lane or have a good finish
he's doing good with the COT and thats like a whole new car
so a different car brand won't stop Gordon from racing
the way he does

No, brand identification plays a big part in NASCAR. JR or Gordon leaving chevrolet would be a huge mistake for them.

Yes.
I'm a fan of the driver.
Not the car.
I do like Chevy's, but they can't drive themselves.

Well, the cars can't drive themselves, so I'd still be a Junior fan.
