We will be going to the nascar race in Chicago in a few weeks and would like tips on what to do and what to make sure we see. We have pit passes and we will be there for the whole race weekend. This is the first race for the entire family. Tips on what to pack would also be helpful. Thanks! :D

Dont you think we waste let these people waste so much gasoline, 400 laps x 20 plus cars... they use high octane meaning more condensed petrol... can someone give/estimate a figure of this stupid ritual (i don't think it's a sport)

After a short red flag on Sunday @ MIS, NASCAR called the race. About twenty minutes after that, it stopped raining, and I (along with my fellow infield mates) thought there was plenty of time to dry the track & finish the last 70 laps. The two hour rain delay before the Talladega race had higher TV ratings than the NBA & NHL Playoffs....why can't NASCAR hold off before calling the race?!?

I go to racing all the time since I supply race teams watching the action from pit lane I love pretty much all motor sports but have found drift racing to be among the most exciting next to top fuel drag.
I feel LMES is the most stratigic what do you think?

As a NASCAR fan, bashers sometimes really get me p*ssed off. Some of the comments are really silly, it's the nasty comments and attacks on NASCAR fans that make me angry sometimes. I usually ignore it but it's hard to ignore personal attacks because I choose to like Nextel Cup..Am I the only FAN that's getting a little tired of the really nasty comments?
