Whatever type of racing she is in, she is no doubt being chased because she is so attractive.
I have suddenly become a fan of car racing because of Danika Patrick. She adds a new dimension to a great sport and adds to the fun and enjoyment of racing.
Get 'em, Danika...

well first of all she is a IRL driver :) I dont think she's being exploited, but she does enhance the sport & help bring in a bigger audience. This ground has been broken many times in the past but none have been very sucessful.Sure she is good for the sport even NASCAR seems to be beside itself to find their own (Danika) someone who can qulify & run well in the race's ,she's also a right nice looking young lady, and that is good for the sport as well, maybe she will be the one to really break this ground and make it produce.I wish her well

As already stated Danica Patrick races in the Indy Car Series. But there are women already competing in drag racing . Angelle Sampey has won the Pro Stock motorcycle championship 3 times. Another good example is Ashley Force, John's daughter, who is working her way up the ranks and will be running her dad's car after he retires in the next few years. I know there are more women running in drag racing but those are the most well known right now.

danika patrick is not a drag racer she is a indy car racer and she is good she may not win races but she is pretty high in the standings for as long as she has been in indy car racing and the best part is she is female so she is putting alot of mens egos down. and i think anyone can be good for the sport of drag racing if they practice and work at it enough depending if male or female!

She's a good driver but she's got a tremendous weight advantage. She's probably 30 to 40 pounds lighter than the next lightest driver. When engineers work hard to shave off ounces, that kind of weight advantage makes a huge difference. I don't mean to take away anything from her. Many male drivers have used the same advantage. Have you noticed that drivers are beginning to look like jockeys. She is good for the sport though. American open wheel racing needs all the help it can get.

sure she will. no longer cup races yet she will run non Nascar ARCA and a few truck or national races at the same time as nonetheless working in the IRL. I even have heard she knows Nascar would be a minimum of a three year getting to understand curve and she or he desires to do it. she will might desire to acquire sponsorship for a minimum of three years that's completely conceivable for her. She is keen to start in ARCA and shop on with the lead of Tony and Juan staying in ARCA till she has some fulfillment then shifting to autos or national. i think of she will do it. She wont be a movie star yet she gets some properly suited 10s and 20s in cup after 3 or 4 years.

THE WOMAN CAN DRIVE AND ONLY TIME WILL TELL IF SHE CAN WIN, WITH MILLIONS IN THE BANK THE IRL ISNT RUNNING HER OFF ANYTIME SOON, ODDLY ENOUGH SHE HAS RACED AND WON DRIVING OTHER TYPES OF CARS, SO THIS ISNT HER FIRST RODEO, SHE IS GOOD FOR ANY SPORT, WHO WOULD DENY HER A PAYCHECK ANYWAYS, HAND HAVE A NICE DAY!

She drives for the stupid IRL. She's a pretty good driver, so she's really not being exploited.
But she has so much pressure to win because she doesn't want to be racing's Anna Kournikova: a pretty loser.
