I was just wondering if buying these would make any difference since they are so exspensive. Any other things like protection and stuff would be helpful to know too. Thanks!

Yes, dirtbike boots will keep your feet clean of dirt.

wooooooowwww dirtbike boots are one of the most important things oyu need to wear just under a helmet i very very much sujjest you get them even if you ride 2 times a year i know people who have no foot cause they didnt and both as a racer and sponsored racer i buy the best you can wich is alpinestars pretty much i have the tech 6 but go for the tech 10 they are about $400 and kinee and shin guards are a must

Josh, the reason for dirt bike boots is that they have a lot of padding and stiff bracing for your ankles and feet.

When you lean into a corner, often the whole weight of the bike and your weight is on your one foot or ankle. The boots protect you from breaking that ankle, which is a common dirt bike injury.

You can get plastic inserts to slip over your heels before pulling on your shoes. Cost a lot less, and protect your feet really well.

they help a lot.... i find them easier to ride in and they help with the footing and they are better than just regular shoes
