Sports - 16 March 2007

I was wondering what exersizes / drills I could do to increase my overall sprint speed. I already have exellent endurance so that is not a problem I just want to be faster.

Please explain exersizes / drills because I have never been in organized sportsand have never trainded with a group of people. So I may not know what some names mean.

Also please do not offer any pills/suppliments or clothing that may enhance proformence. I am just interested in the physical things I can do to get faster.

having recovered from lung surgery i have 2 tix (1 extra ) to tues april 3 rd.i have a car in ft laud , 10 hrs from augusta or should i fly from my nyc home to columbia or atlanta n rent a car. i have i nite in marriott , 60 min from augusta.after the round its onto ft laud by car or fly. almost to confusing and expensive to go,but its been a dream n now i cant back out. any serious advise . 54 male

Yahoo seems to have a pretty major bias in having players available in their fantasy baseball league. Teams like the Red Sox (my home team) and Yankees have every mediocre prospect listed to pick up as free agents. I can draft EVERY closer option for the Red Sox, all 6 of them. On the other hand, Al Reyes, possibly the best closing option for the Devil Rays? Not available. The same is true for some players on the Nationals as well. Has anyone else noticed this?

From my experience in the gym, those bicycles don't seem to burn many calories, compared to the eliptycal machines and the treadmills...but I have a mountain bike now and after a good ride outside, I feel like I get a workout.....or maybe it is in my head?

Is it worth going? It's gonna rain, I don't know if it will be a drizzle or a downpour, but it's might rain. It's gonna be in the thirtys in the morning, then up to 50 before we leave. So will the fish bite? It's almost spring on the east coast, we are at a small pond, about 300 yards big. Suppose it doesn't rain. Will they bite then? Thanks!

Can aynone tell me the players name and team he played for?? It was like 2004 or 2003, March Madness tourny. He ended up missing the next two shots and his team lost. Hands down, it has to be : hit a baseball (in fair territory)

There are many different types of pitches, pitchers, deliveries, weather has an effect as well. Lefty vs. righty. Timing of the swing. If it is a ball or a strike...etc.

I have played multiple sports and I still stand by MY Opinion
