Clearly, the MLB needs to get rid of the guy they have right now. Thankfully he's not a Bettman or a Stern, but he's no Tagliabue, either. There was talk at one point of trying to elevate an ex-president to the ranks of baseball commissioner. I don't think that's a bad idea. Given his background as a baseball executive (with the Texas Rangers), would George W. Bush be a candidate for you? If not, who should be the next commissioner and where should they come from: the sport, government or the business world?
