I asked that because this issue still has continued to be problems. Some male athletes dont like to have to get naked and change in front of women that they dont want to. Also male reporters are not being granted the right to go in women athletes locker rooms. So if title IV and equality is now a big issue in fairness of equality should females not be allowed in male athletes locker rooms or should males be allowed in females locker rooms if females are given that right to interview male athletes?

No. Male reporters are not allowed in female locker rooms. No double standards for me, thank you.

I agree there is a double standard. I would certainly not want a man in the locker room at my gym. I know the intent was that female reporters would not be discriminated against due to male reporters being allowed in. The real solution would be to ban ALL reporters from locker rooms - period. For goodness sakes - just give the poor guys some privacy for a few minutes. The only reason reporters do the locker room stories is to get some guy to slip and say something in the heat of the moment that he will later regret.

No that is so wrong and unfair.

They should wait until they're finished or is every single oe of them agreed to letting them come in...that would be the same as letting a male reporter walk into the women's locker rooms! It's just plain and simply not right!

In this case, men are no different from women.

compelling argument, with only one flaw. The part of our society that watches organised sporting events on a regular basis don't care about women sports. Thats why there are so many empty seats at those WNBA games, and that half of the teams have or are going under. Plus they are to afraid that a boob might get on TV and our entire civilization would come to a screeching halt because of it.

And isnt it title 9, not title 4

Definitely Not!!! No, they should not be allow to go that far as that. The reporters should have the limit of what they could permit to. The respect for someone else privacy need to be protect with manner and rules.

the answer's especially basic, rather. do no longer enable all of us in any of the locker rooms. provide the athletes some area on a similar time as they're bare. basically enable newshounds to communicate to them as quickly as they have totally dressed.

It should work both ways. If women reject being interviewed in their locker room, than it is unfair to the men.

hmmm i guess that athletes should have the right to deny or grant access to any a reporter. in this way they all have equal rights and power of decision regardless if they are male or female.

First of all, i strongly believe that only hot-chick reporters shoudl be allowed in the male locker room. the ugly ones should be banned.
And yes..yes..i strongly agree that male reporters should be allowed to enter into female locker rooms..yup

Wow! I thought there was some sort of code of morality and ethics in journalism...that just went out the window, huh?? Just like the paparazzi, mainstream American media has reached an all-time low. Until next week, that is.
