I am 17 and I am taking lifeguard cert. classes this weekend and i am wondering what would be appropriate to wear?? We are supposed to bring our own swim suits. I kind of dont want to wear a one piece or tankini because of weird tan lines. And im pretty comfortable with my body to wear a bikini. But would it be strange for a lifeguard to wear a bikini? I dont want to show up to cert. classes with a bikini on and have everyone else in one peices and all covered up.

I have only played golf two times and have never taken a lesson. I have no idea what I'm doing. I really enjoy the atmosphere and the challenge that the game presents but I need help. I can ussually drive the ball pretty straight but I tend to miss a lot of swings. I also do not hit the ball flush which causes my hit not to go very far. My putting is awful. The first time I played I shot 115 through 10 holes and the next time I went I shot 95 through 13 holes. I am using some old clubs I borrowed and would like to buy some new ones that are inexpensive. Any help is appreciated.

i am a highschooler looking for a mountainbike, into freeriding just about anywhere, i bike atleast five miles a day, looking for a bike that will take almost virtually anything i can throw at it, aswell as dirt jumping somehting i can take over 5 feet high. something preferably disk brake.

the local bike shop recomended a trek 820, got the insurance, and a month later their surprised i nearly totaled the bike.

any bikes you would recomend, that you have ridden and have proven you worthy?

Starbury had another great night...until the last 0.9 seconds, when his second freethrow bounced off the rim. The Knicks, and especially Starbury played with so much heart tonight. Steph will carry this team on his shoulders if he has to. The Knicks deserved to win this one at the Garden tonight for him. What a heartbreak.

My 9 yr old is required by our league to attend 1 of 2 tryouts in order to be eligable when the coaches draft their teams. My son sprained his ankle and is not permitted to participate in sports for 3 weeks...which means he'll miss both tryouts.

The league president said that would be OK as long as I provided them with a doctors excuse...which I did. Now he's telling me that I have to get another doctors letter clearing him to play.

I don't want to have to pay for another office visit when excuse is dated and clearly says "no sports for 2-3 weeks". To me, the doctors restriction is removed once the required time has passed.

Does anyone know the official Little League rule regarding this? Thanks...Rob

I was in the play offs for my school team today and i lost on my last shot for a draw to the button. I was short about a foot. : ( During the game i missed several shots because i have inconsistant weight. Is there anyway i can help make my weight for shot more consistant, other than just more practise. Is there anything i can do on the ice to help?
