They don't need his drama. Maybe now they can concentrate on the game.

The Kings will make the playoffs without that psycho franchise-killer Ron Artest. In fact, the Kings just won last night, and they are now only one game behind the 8th-seeded Clippers. Artest getting banned from the team just gave the Kings more fire, they will make it. And I am happy that Mike Bibby is playing like his old self again, like he used to back in the days of the royal Kings when C-Webb was there and the Kings were the best in the NBA. It's sad how the Maloofs destroyed such a great team and brought in a psycho called Artest to kill the franchise even more. Once you have a team come true like C-Webb, Bibby, Vlade, Peja, B-Jax, Hedo, Doug Christie, and Rick Adelman as coach, then you've struck gold, so why in the world would you ever destroy a great team like that? Teams like that don't come around very often. But it just goes to show that the Maloofs only care about their money and not NBA basketball, what a shame. Man, what a glorious team for the ages did those morons somehow manage to build, yet destroyed.

The Kings may be able to get into the playoffs without Artest. But he certainly makes them a better team. With or without Artest they will most likely get booted out in the first round should they make it.

kings are outside the top 8 and have been playing reasonable basketball as of late. it will be hard to see them crack the 8 while losing their best perimeter defender. but in saying so they still have some decent players on this team.
with the emergence of Kevin Martin and the steady play from veterans like Rahim, Bibby and Miller, the team can still remain competitive. i think its also been well documented that Martin's play is even better when Artest is out of the line up.....theyre probably an 8 or 9th finish team...making the play offs will be difficult....but who knows what can happen with injuries around the L

They were barely in it with Artest there. He sparks their defense when he's on the floor, but without him, that D disappears. The Kings really should have traded him when they had the chance, because he's been on his way to a meltdown all season.

sure Melo must be the shoe in for a starter except somebody else truly has a extensive first a million/2 of the season. Ron does have of undertaking yet identity say itd be an outdoors risk. watching him the previous year in Houston his activity has began to say no "quite" form the place it replaced into. with a bit of luck with the Lakers the weeknesses heavily isn't a difficulty with him. Now at SF yeah Durant ought to placed up good numbers and now his hitting the area the place he must be known. Marion back interior the West has a shot as Josh Howard going to visit SG. And that throughout the time of all risk facilitates Ron's possibilities as Josh is the greater desirable scorer. T-Mac is going to be the wild card. He has his base of dedicated followers (I as a Rockets fan am actual no longer certainly one of them). And that's his FA year, no Yao no Ron. He ought to placed up massive numbers by way of fact he could be the convenience prize for the gang that loses out interior the LeBron/Bosh/Wade sweepstakes this coming offseason. identity placed it at a 30% risk as their isn't a want for extensive offensive numbers from him. could incredibly see him making it then Tracy nevertheless. No famous individual for my Rockets to make the playoffs. And Delonte. Ive joked approximately him in the previous. no longer doing that now. that's attending to be a correct to difficulty with the guy. No joking remember now.

The kings are only 1 game behind for the 8th spot in the west and 2 games back for 7th. they have been in it all year and losing artest will hurt them a little bit, i dont think it will hurt them as bad as people think. i wouldnt be surprised to see them make the 8th seed in the west.

They weren't that good with Artest and without him, they aren't even close to a playoff team.

Of course. I mean, as well as they would with him. Ron Artest isn't a great nba player. He isn't even a good one.

I'd have to say no. He brings great defense and scoring ability. Fortunately, he is coming back. I hope he gets the help he needs at home though. He sounds like he needs some help with that anger before it consumes him.
