Sports - 6 February 2007

I am a Pistons fan but my second favorite team in the league is the Spurs. I know they have not played their best this year and they're third in the west behind Dallas and Phoenix who have played terrific. All that being said though I still think the Spurs are a great team that should be thought of as a serious contender. So I was wondering why so many people count them out?

I can already do a 540, what other kicks will i learn that i probably can't already do. I realize they teach you some pretty meaningless kicks that anyone can do. What cool kicks will i learn?

Great performance from wilko, but was his try valid? Watching the freeze frame, it appeared to me as if his foot was in touch at the exact time he put the ball down - does anyone know the ruling on this?

i was so angry and sad when i read the news he said that he wants to quit because hes angry with dunga for the way that hes been handling him and for other reasons.....man i dont want him to leave i think its not convinient for him he should think twice after making a decision i hope its a rumour but if not i hope he doesnt leave!!!!

Im going with Dirk Nowitzki simply because he is on the best team and he means everything to that team. Phoenix without Nash is way better than Dallas without Dirk. Dirk dominates the game on the offensive end and the glass while now providing solid DEF. Hes one of the few players who can score from anywhere and hes extremely clutch. He swept PHX so far this year (including a game winning jumper). His cast of mates arent that great so I dont understand how people act like hes not doin it alone cause he is. Half the plays for Dallas are iso plays for Dirk. Without him drawing constant doubles and triples Howard and Terry wouldnt ever be open. Nash has Amare/Marion, Arenas has Butler/Jamison, and Kobe has Odom all of whom are better than Howard, Dirk's only real help on the floor. Dirk deserves to win it because of his teams vicotories and the domination he has over them
