they'll in all probability end in 2d. That branch is amazingly aggressive and all people can win it. they could supply Rick Porcello (#5 pitching prospect interior the Minors, did properly at AA final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days) a raffle to start and Ryan Perry(#a million %. lasyt 3 hundred and sixty 5 days) a raffle interior the Bullpen. Verlander, Bonderman, Galaragga, Minor and Jackson are an outstanding 5. Zumaya, Rodney, Seay, Dolsi, Lyon (the two Robertson or Willis, the different one gets cut back) CF Granderson 2B Polanco RF Ordonez 1B Cabrara DH Sheffield LF Guillen C Laird 3B Inge SS Everett CIF Larish SS Santiago OF Thames UT Raburn C Treanor RP Ryan Perry and Sp Rick Porcello could get called up throughout the time of the 300 and sixty 5 days. no longer a foul line up. some velocity, potential and approximately Everett is a how good a shielding SS he's. lots of individuals do no longer understand how undesirable Renteria replaced into final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. i'm no longer paying for inot the Indians. Their rotation has merely as many question marks as us. Westbrook is getting back from surgical treatment, Carmona replaced into injured lots final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days too. Carl Pavano is their third starter and Cliff Lee gained the CY youthful. That got here out of no the place that may no longer going to take place back. different than for Sizemore no one of their line up is that frightening. Martinez and Hafner have been harm all final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days (Hafner sucks besides). And Peralta isn't a foul participant. The Twins will continually be good. The White Sox lost everyone and the Royals could marvel some human beings. a million) Twins 2) Tigers 3) Royals 4) Indians 5) Whit Sox

I can't say that they will be the champions, but I think they will surprise people by returning to the playoffs. The only team ever to win the division over 10 years in a row (the Braves) did it with pitching (Mdadux, Glavine, Smoltz). I think the Tigers are a similar team to those Braves team, as they a good, young, talented, underrated hitters, and guys like Verlander, Rogers, Bonderman, and Zumaya pitching for them. I think they have the type of team that is built for the long haul of the season, but will prove to be inconsistent in the playoffs, much like the Braves teams throughout the 90's.

As you can see by my username, I'm a bit biased, but I think the Tigers will do even better than last year. They improved slightly in the Sheffield trade and their pitchers continue to mature. This offseason, the other teams in their division just got worse. The Twins pitching rotation is suspect now without Liriano and Joe Nathan. The White Sox rotation is inconsistent and center field remains a big problem for them.
Go Tigers!

They will make the playoffs--either as division winner or wild card.
They will battle Minnesota for that. Everyone thinks that because Liriano is out for 2007 The Twins wont make it. They will, Minnesota has a good team.
And yes, the chicgao whinny sux will battle it out...with KC for last place, and they will lose.

Third of forth place. They will fight with Cleveland for that spot. The Twins and Sox will fight out for the title. Both have strong pitching (even with Garcia gone for the Sox, and Liariano out for the Twins), and both have great hitting (Konerko, Dye, Thome, Crede, Pierzinski, Erstadt - wow!), but it comes down to one thing - Detroit had their chance last year - and blew it! You only get on chance. The Sox took advantage of their chance in 05. Detroit did not. A lot of this teams offense is getting past their prime. They will only finish in 3rd or 4th.

I would say they are a definite for the playoffs, but getting to the world series is questionable. It's difficult to do it two years straight, especially in the AL if you are not the Yankees!

Boston will eliminate them in either the ALDS or ALCS (Detroit only gets this far if they face the Yankees in the ALDS).

i think they will contend for the wild card but ultimately fall short.
teams will be more aware of the starting rotation and their hitting will have some struggles this year. 86 wins.
