Most people having never been in a real adrenalin or life threating situation would crumble to pieces or digenerate into john wayne hay maker desperate attempts at fighting back so throwing martial arts technques out the window so to speak.

Having been a bouncer I've had my fair share of adrenalin situations re: knifes,bottles and two or three on one scenerios
and used jiu-jitsu technques although be it basic ones to great effect.

Have you ever been in simular situations and did you inspite of adrinalin successfully implment your martial art techniques.

Your thoughts please!!!

Although Gretzkey means more to hockey than Beckham means to soccer. Beckhams goal is simlar to Gretzkys was. Gretzky made hockey a house hold sport in the USA when he was traded to the Los Angeles Kings and awed the people in California with his talent. Although soccer nor hockey will never surpass the other 3 sports in the USA. Ice hockey atleast has a pretty healthy fanbase in the USA. My hometown team the Carolina Hurrincanes won the Stanley cup last year and i was happy for them. But for Becks I think he wont be making soccer a mainstream sport. For that you need Ronaldinho not Becks. Wrong guy LA Galaxy. The LA Galaxy will never surpass the LA Lakers when it comes up to fanbase never. Therefore I dont think you can compare Gretzkey to Beckham cause Gretzky means much more.

I sold my sled, got $2,000. I have the itch to get a Banshee, if ya dont know, its a sport quad Yamaha makes. Its a 2001, all together the guy has $18,000 invested. I have talked to him, he has the recipts and work orders to prove it. The machine is spick and span. Its pretty much double what I wanted to spend, but about 4 times better! Why should I do it (because thats what I want to hear)?

Years ago, I had bicycles and rode regularly. My bicycle was stolen and I got busy with my career. Now I bought a new bicycle and it just seems that I'm having to air up the tires every time that I ride. It's a brand new bike! Brand new tires! It's apparently a slow leak, if that's the problem... but both tires?!? What are the odds? I started thinking there must be something wrong with the valve caps or how I'm airing it up.... Anybody got any ideas? Sorry, I know it sounds stupid but I'm just getting back into riding.
