The rest is endorsement form different sponsors.
You're right, even with $10m... it's still a lot from a team that does not generate that much revenue... maybe they will start squeezing commercial breaks into soccer games.

There is this billionare named Phillip Anschutz who is willing to invest $250 million on David Beckham. That guy is a billionare so thats why he is giving a chance to David Beckham to play here and try to make soccer a little more noticable in the USA

easy answer NO but over all they stand to make about $100m so they dont really lose that much due to endorsments etc
he doesnt get paid as much as some of basketball,baseball etc stars do in USA so all in all its a good investment for the team

MLS is not paying most of that money. If you read the contract lines it says salary AND endorsements. Adidas is the major winner of this deal.

Hello!!! Dude, MLS is in the U.S. for if yeh didn't know! America has loads of money. And in order to promote such a sport that lacks popularity in a country--among white Americans--they use a world-class star duh!
