I'm learning to ice skate, and I get muscle cramps in the arches of my feet after just a few minutes. I've switched from figure skates to hockey skates, put in arch support inserts and gel insoles, tightened the laces and loosened the laces. Nothing has helped. Any suggestions?

Anyone have any idea where I can get a FULL english translation of the Bansenshukai? I have the entire thing in the feudal-era Japanese, but this is a long hard job to translate. While I would like to do so, an english source would help me iron out and more correctly translate it.

My love is basketball and I'm in the middle of my season now, but I'm considering joining track. I run about a 4.75 and am about 5' 10' 170lbs. I used to run track at a younger age like 8th grade but have since quit but I feel like I could do well in track. What do you think?

I made the JV team last year but had to miss out on most of the season because of my seperated shoulder.

Now i'm back with my high school JV team and was just wondering if anyone knows what i can to indoors (my house) that would help me arm strength out when im pitching.

Though the season doesn't start untill March, the earliar i get my shoulder/arm pumped, the more prepared i will be.

Also it's cold in Minnesota right now so thats why i'm asking for indoor workouts instead of outdoors.

Any Idea/Tip/Info? Any would be great.

It's for a stunt in cheerleading. I'm flying for the first time and I need to know how many people of average stregnth it would take to do this stunt with me called flatback where the flyer is held above the heads of the bases, their arms are completely outstretched and the flyer lays stiff as a board with her back on their palms. I need to know how many of y'all it would take to do this stunt with me and how difficult it would be to support someone my size. Thanks!

I've seen it in clips with J.D. Drew hitting off of a pitcher with a camoflague jersey, and white pants. I would asume that the team is in the NL West, just because they're more likely to play against the Dodgers.

Thanks!

My mother and Dad served you a spaghetti dinner when you were in Eau Claire,Wi.I was there . Also saw all the home games in Eau Claire with my father, Ben Sirianni. I drove Wes Covington and Tommy Aaron to Rice Lake, Wi where they rode to Superior for a game. Henry, you were so special I believe the coach took you in his car. We enjoyed you being at our house and hoped you liked our meal. I had a little sister, her name is Dorothy Sirianni, also a brother who was 14 when you were in our home in 1952. My dad was a very good friend of Ran Bezanson. I was married in 1960 and moved to Durand, Wi. My father died in1959 at age 48. He was a great fan of Baseball and I remeber him saying you guys needed a good home cooked meal when he approached my mom and asked her to cook for you three guys. I was 17 at the time. Have since raised 7 children and lived on a farm for 32 years. Been married 47 years in Feb. I was wondering if you remember any of this? Would like to hear ,if you do.

I'm going to be so sad to see Coach Cowher go. So, who do you think will get the job and why? Who do you think should get the job and why? And then a prediction---how will the Steelers do under a new coach next year?

Okay, let me begin my start of point. I recently bought a japanese katana, a Carbon Steel 1025 Differentially Tempered Springsteel katana, retailing $169.99. And it is very sharp, however, I am doing an independant movie project and didn't want to make the actors use "MADE IN CHINA" dull blades. So, to set my point, how do I make it blunt, the sharp edge into a dull edge? I want to make the weapons real looking, without the mishap of bootlegging swords and danger of a sharpened sword. I am only near intermediate expert in katanas, but all I can think of is stroking the blade on a rock. Any suggestions? It would help me speed up the process for my IFC film.
