personally i like football much more than soccer...and i completely dis agree with joe s....soccer is a much easier sport to pay than football because it involves practically no physical contact...and it is much easier to condition for because u don't have to condition pretty much your upper body. and yes i would know cause Ive played both. no I'm not dissing soccer either its a fun sport. and hey the rest of u STOP dissing America! we don't make fun of u all cause u don't like football or base ball. both sports are great and fun to play its just a matter of personal opinion to witch one you like more.

hell no the only sports that matter in America are football, baseball, and basketball. Anyone who disagree are just angry and should live in a different country. Those three sports bring in millions upon millions of more $ then soccer. Nobody watches pro soccer and the only reason they watch USA soccer is to support the country. Football runs America hands down from high school to college to the pros.

if I wanted to improve my conditioning I would run marathons or run cross country at my school. Football is 10 times more physically demanding then soccer. It is the sport of speed, strength, endurance, and toughness. I dont play football because others do it but because I am better than others at it. In soccer you dont have to worry about getting punished if you are going across the middle. Soccer is for stick skinny guys that like to dribble the ball up and down the field. You have no room to talk because it is not what actually happens on the field but in the off season that counts. You dont even realize how much conditioning goes into football. It is so hard to get up from a big hit for the 30th time in the 4th quarter but in soccer you just worry about getting tripped up and crying and getting taken off the field in a stretcher like everyone does in the world cup. Football is for men, soccer is for boys. USA is the land of football where soccer is just here because so many illegal mexicans are coming to america and if you do not like the reality then move to like Mexico or Italy or something.
The question is do people like soccer better than football and the answer is no. Turn on any sports channell and you will see football, baseball, basketball, hockey, tennis, Nascar, and golf. You never see soccer unless the world cup is on because they have to do it to support the country.

i come from an american family that enjoy soccer. this is the first year that some people talk about soccer.
football (american) is so boring. there is way to much time out. and they guys are so big and square.
the soccer players are so lean and cute.
