Personally, i was a little disappointed with Eckstein getting it. He is a great player, and had a great series. But when you consider the offensive series that Molina had, and with that the work he did with the pitching staff, I would have thought it was a no-brainer. It seems to me, to win the MVP, you have to play great in the final game (Eckstein, Dye...) I guess people have short memories.

i have been searching high and low for the answer but cannot seem to find who sang it. i witnessed it and loved the guy's voice who did it but missed the announcement of his name. it was a black guy in his late twenty's or thirty's i think. if anyone can help me out i would appreciate it. his voice was awesome and reminded me a little bit like stevie wonder. TIA

Do you think the most significant plays happened earlier in the series or in tonight's win for St. Louis Cardinals?

Throughout this entire year in sports the Detroit teams have been on top but only their WNBA team won. First the Pistons had the best record for the entire NBA season and lost in the Eastern Conferance Championship to the Heat, and now the Tigers, who had the best record throughout most of the MLB season this year lost at the World Series. Not to mention the depressing season by the Red Wings, do you Detroit fans and people from Michagan think this is the most depressing series you guys have ever had? I hope you guys don't think that because honestly it is true testiment to how good Detroit and Michagan is at sports that you got this close in so many sports this year, and trust me as a Pacers (I am from Indiana) fan that is tough to say. So don't look at this as failure, think about this as a tremendous accomplishment for your city and state.

You gotta admit that the Tombstone Piledriver strongly resembles the standing up version of the 69 position.

MLB should wait to retire numbers or ask players wearing that number to change before retiring the number.

the World Series as well had the N.Y Mets beat the St. Louis Cardinals in the final game in the N.L.C.S.?

Did the Detroit Tigers live up to your expectations and was it a fair, good or great World Series...?

First of all congrtulations Cards you are the World Champs. To tell you the truth I'm a Tigers fan and I thought that we did not deserve to win. When my teams win I wanrt them to win by playing good. The Tigers just decided to lay down for the Cards and make all those mistakes.Mistakes are costly and you should pay for them. But those mistakes made me sick.I meam my gos I can make those throws.Tigers should have won but we did not.
