Sports - 12 September 2006

I'm looking for a small handgun primarily for home defense, secondarily as a tool for sport (shooting for fun). My priorities, in order, are: ease of use, safety/reliability, stopping power, non-penetration through thin walls, and durability (so that I can set it aside for months at a time without maintenance or attention without it falling apart).

I live in the San Francisco Bay area, so any restrictions as to models etc. apply. Any recommendations as to the best models, given the above, would be appreciated. I would especially appreciate first-hand experience and price information.

Wasn't the Giants doing best and good fights. Also the reason why Giants loss is becasue of the @$$holes in New york becuse they boo us and we lose they screw us badly that makes the Defense and Offense look terrible. Fans shouldn't boo THEE New York Giants because of a football game.

Whether a blessing or a curse, New York has already signed Hideki Matsui, Johnny Damon, and Bobby Abreu to extended contracts, leaving star rookie Melky Cabrera and fan favorite Bernie Williams out of the loop.

Joe Torre has already hinted that the left-field position (at least for the remainder of the season) belongs to Cabrera by intending for Matsui to DH, leaving Bernie out in the cold.

If you were in Joe Torre's position, what would you do? Why?

I've tried to watch it, and I fall asleep. What is everyone fascination, with people running from one end of field to the next. I just don't understand it. How do some people watch it religiously. They stop everything there doing to watch it. I have been to a professional game, It was the Buffalo Bills vs, some team. It just didn't do anything for me.

And there's people who play Fantasy Football, What's that? How do you play FF. It just doesn't make any sense to me.

Could you explain the game more or something, so maybe I could see what everyone sees in it.

It's only a 4 person league but I don't see how I could lose EVER! 250 per person winner take all league.

A trade is in the works for Peyton for Brady and possibly one of my bench players. If I get him I would never lose a game. Won only by 17 week 1 cuz Alexander decided not to show up.
