I like the Big House at Michigan, just because it's simple. You're going there (with about 100,000 of your closest friends) to watch the game, and nothing more.
I also like the Horseshoe at Ohio State, because of the way it opens up to the city. And Notre Dame's stadium just has so much history at it.
Funny note about Boise State's field: I read in Sports Illustrated a few years back, after they installed the blue turf but before they'd put the lines on it, they were finding legions of dead ducks and geese on it. Poor birds thought it was a pond, swooped in and realized all too late it wasn't what they thought they'd seen from hundreds of feet up.

The NCAA should ban the blue Boise St field. All fields should be green. Why should Boise get an exemption?

I have been to Darryl Royal Memorial stadium and it is a nice Stadium. But what makes a stadium great is the fans and for that you have to go to Kyle field...and you need to get there a day in advance for the yell practice. Then you have to see the band...and God forbid if the Aggies are any good because then it goes from insane to ...well hell there are no words to describe it....but when they play the school song and the Stadium actually moves and you are engulfed in a sea of Maroon yelling beat the hell out of t.u. you will understand. Can't wait to see a game at the big house though.

While I love the Smurf Turf (probably just gave away my bias) I think Georgias' Feild is pretty cool with the live plants. Adds a whole new meaning to the phrase "keeping it between the hedges"
