Example: When someone asks you to choose between two players, why do you pick someone else. It doesn't make sense to me to come up with somebody else's name.

most of the football players are either african american or caucation and the african american players are mostly the best.

My proposed stat shows shooting efficiency. It overrules the PPG stat which can be padded by scoring lots of points but a lot of missed FG could be factored in. For example Iverson gets a lot a PPG but his FG % is low, leading to lots of defensive rebounds and points for the other team.Go try it yourself and see who's shooting is really most effective. I'm betting sixth men will have the best point-per-shot averages.

ok ive read a few older posts and it says that boys will try to hit me hard on purpose at a game. ok so i want to do football and ive never really done it it seems fun though i want to join the school team. will the boys be mean to me? should i stay out of the way of this sport? i want to do it though

Some friends and I are traveling to NYC on Sept 15 & 16, and we would like to see some amateur boxing matches. Any suggestions where to look? Venues? We're just looking for some competitive fights, maybe a cool local venue. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Joe Mauer, I'm a Metfan from Jersey and all I hear is Ortiz and Jeter. Mauer is a CATCHER again I'll say it a CATCHER! He has the best avg. best on-base, 27 doubles, 10 hr. Papi does great but he's a DH no way I'm giving the MVP to a DH.. Jeter is having a great year at short but I just think what Mauer's doing in Minn is awesome. Manny deserves some talk also!

I am one of those people who like a sports team because they play for my state/city. And i really hate people who are not even from the state/city that they root for, or has never even lived their once before.

Shouldn't people in Wisconsin be Packer fans? or shouldn't San Fran people be 49er fans? (So on and so far) I just don't get it!
Im from Minnesota and im a Vikings fan, sure they never won a superbowl but hell with that, im still a fan. You won't believe how many people up here in minnesota like the Falcons just because Mike Vick is fast, or like the Patriots just because they won each of their superbowl by a lonely 3 points. I see no interest in other teams unless you actually live (or use to live) in the state/city they play for. A true sports fan would root for their home team.
Whats your opinion on this?

Note #2: You fans who are fans just because a team is good makes me sick and aren't real fans at all.
