Any legitimacy to the rumors...or just hype?

INDIANAPOLIS (July 10) - First, it was Formula One driver Juan Pablo Montoya. Now America's top female driver, Danica Patrick, is considering competing in NASCAR.
The Orlando Sentinel reported Patrick's father, T.J., was having exploratory discussions with some NASCAR teams and attended Sunday's race in Chicago as the guest of Roush Racing.


Roush team president Geoff Smith said the team gave Patrick's family members passes as a favor but had not had any serious discussions of adding Patrick to the team.


"If she's interested, all they have to do is pick up the phone," Smith said. "But they haven't picked up the phone."


The report fueled speculation on the first of three days of testing at Indianapolis Motor Speedway that Patrick, whose contract with Rahal Letterman Racing expires after this season, could be leaving the Indy Racing League for NASCAR.

The best team didn't win the FIFA World CUP 2006 for sure. Italy
won it without facing Brazil, Argentina and England, some of the contenders. Do you think it's better to find out the champion among the last eight teams by league system rather than knockout system? I'm disappointed to see the champion is decided through penalty shoot-out.

I think that sets a bad example for future generations, that you could do something that violent, taking away the beauty of the game, but still get awarded for that. Remember this game is watch by Billions of people.
He is an amazing soccer player, but what he did is not acceptable, and now FIFA awarded him? because he is retiring, that is not an excuse, It is really dissapointing to see this kind of thing happening.
I love Soccer, and do not let future generations follow this steps.

Don't you think they were issuing too many red/yellow cards this World Cup? I remember reading that highest number of cards were issued this w.c. than any other w.c.

I typically do not wear underwear with jeans and shorts. I love American Eagle and Abercrombie jeans and cargo shorts. The same goes with soccer shorts from Adidas, Puma, etc. They are all comfortable. It seems like there is a trend now with people in their teens, 20s, and 30s in that they are getting rid of the undies. I can tell at school and at the gym. Maybe Abercrombie and Fitch is getting the hint. Their website shows guys and girls wearing low rise jeans....... and there are NO underwear bands with Abercrombie and Fitch showing.. as they use to do in the past. Let's face it, their clothes are comfortable to wear without.

Also, I think clothes are getting comfortable enough that underwear is not really needed anymore. Also, if you make sure you have good personal hygeine, you do not really need it. Underwear is for the days when clothes were not comfortable.

Who here seriously thinks that the WWE Women's Division is lacking in the physical department!? I mean now seriously think back to BEFORE they had all these "WWE Diva Search Contest's" right. How much better was the womens division back then! They still had Bra & Panty matches but, the girls still got physical in the ring while stripping each other. Today we seem to see more prancing about rather then actuall wrestling. All these new DIVA Search Winners for instance, sure they r all stunning women. But can any of them actually wrestle!? Being a WWE DIVA does'nt only require a pretty face. It require's knowing how to kick sum booty aswell. And all the women of WWE before these silly contests where recruited to WWE for both those reasons. I mean even Stacy Kiebler and Terri Runnels used to wrestle. They actually created sum great matches against each other too.
So still keep the prancing ofcourse but add more wrestling in there also! Whom else here agrees with my statement.
