How do they finance projects such as the construction of new Kingdom Halls and branch offices?

Every year around this holiday season, an interesting football match is organized in my country. A team of Imams, Roman Catholic priests, Orthodox Christian priests and Rabbis (those are the mainstream religions in my country) plays a game of football against its opponents - leading country politicians.

What do you think about that? Personally I find it brilliant! Religious leaders united together against corrupted politicians. Speaks volumes! I wish we had more of that ...

I know God will judge you in the end. I'm talking about here and now, with your own self. Of course, you shouldn't judge others.
In a court of law, is it right for a judge to judge other people when the Bible says, "Judge not and you won't be judged!"

I am a Christian and have been for many years but I have also had a problem for many years-I have a sinful habit. I have asked for forgiveness a billion times but I find myself doing the same thing again and again. Recently I have decided to COMPLETELY (Without turning back) give the situation to God. Quit cold turkey in other words. But I am terrified-Does he still forgive me even though I've done it time and time again?

I know the He says that if your brother sins against you, asks you for forgiveness, and then does it again the next day that you should still forgive him. How many times? 70 times 7 (A lot in other words). But Hebrews 12:5-11 seems to say that after doing this too many times we will not be considered true children of God anymore--Has He forgiven me again or am I doomed?

Why can't you all just realize that what Christians believe doesn't affect you, and get on with your life? No one in the Christian cars if they same insane to you, so who are you trying to convince? Christians? They have their own religion which doesn't pertain to you. Yourself? This probably seems appropriate, as their is no reason for you to be forcing your beliefs on Yahoo.

I guess you could say that the "horrible" mother and that "dreadful" abortion doctor should be still allowed to make their "evil" choices. Really it all seems like a waste of creative energy to me.

Salvation from the LORD is mentioned over and over in the Hebrew Scriptures, and since Isaiah 25:8 states that God will swallow uo death forever, why do Jews repeat that Judaism has no concept of salvation?

i am sure one of you have heard one of those fascinating stories that hundreds of people have told about when they were clinically dead then later revived. they all say the story of how they see a light and are moving towards it, then they see..... ect (go look it up yourself) doesn't that have some form of proof of afterlife, and thus god. are all these people lying?

Which do you tend to value more a cheap and unthinking gift or a gift of much price and consideration?
I personally feel it God had chosen a simpler less horrifying perhaps way of redeeming us, say poof no problem, we would not value it nor believe in it.
