Why can't you all just realize that what Christians believe doesn't affect you, and get on with your life? No one in the Christian cars if they same insane to you, so who are you trying to convince? Christians? They have their own religion which doesn't pertain to you. Yourself? This probably seems appropriate, as their is no reason for you to be forcing your beliefs on Yahoo.

If it affects you then learn to ignore it. There is no reason to join here to personally attack Christians.

I don't mind questioning people who act nasty about it, but look at how many people are attacking me for this question, and I haven't' forced my beliefs on anyone.

Look at this, everyone is doing exactly what I said they were doing, such as idiots like Joe mama, and drool.

Act like an adult? I'm clearly just asking a question. And no this isn't a place to debate, it's a place to ask questions and recieves answers to problems. I'm just wondering why everyone has to judge the Christian religion, without acting like a fool about it.

I don't care if you believe in Christianity or not, that's your opinion and I respect it. I do care when you basically sit there and call every Christian who ever lived an idiot.

Not all of them do but the ones I question are the ones
who make jokes about Jesus or quote scriptures and ask
if you abide by it. I do not look at their books and
I have no desire to and I do not joke about their
beliefs or non beliefs. Some use the excuse that
Christians force it down their throats and tell them
they are going to hell if they don't believe. Not all of us
do. I think some just like to razz Christians and that's
the way it is. Christianity is here to stay, just like their
beliefs or non beliefs whether they like it or not.
Edit- You should have left out idiots though, even
though we may be called "stupid" don't do it back.

Maybe they want to learn? Why do Christians try to convert those who do not follow their teachings? I would say that those of you who push to convert are just as bad as those who question the Christian religion. Besides this site is called Region & Spirituality Yahoo Answers. Don't get so uptight since many are genuanly interested or they would not ask. Questions make you think and reason. Do you prefer they blast you for your beliefs rather than just question. Besides, your religions isn't the only one questioned here. As t hey say, you are not alone!

Why do you feel the need to generalize?
Why can't you realize that the majority of the world doesn't give rat's *** of Christianity and what Christian believe?
Why are some Christians so paranoid and egocentric that believe they are the center of the Universe and the reason for everything that happens?

I could give you the same advice you give to people who are tired of being bashed, bothered and bogged by Christians - if questioning Christian religion affects you, learn to ignore it.

Christian beliefs effect us all every day, unless you live in India, China, Sweden or the Middle East or somewhere not dominated by Christians....

I am sorry that my reasoned Atheistic beliefs are so threatening to you, but I feel like I have a duty to my kids and to my species to point out that faith based religious belief is consistently harmful to all of us.

You are free to disagree, and try and prove otherwise, but it hasn't been done successfully, by anyone I have spoken with yet.

I don't want you to be 'forced' into any belief system, I only want you to think about your system, and decide whether it is truly beneficial or not.

If you'll read a few questions, I think you'll find that a lot of Christians do consider those who believe differently to be insane and try mightily to convince us of that. The split is about fifty/fifty people who question Christianity and people who question non-belief.

Lots of good answers to his question.

I don't need educate you anymore than what the rest of us are thinking.

But, yes, you do affect us with your political action committees. laws that are propagated by fear that the dumb vote for.

I just wish you christians would form your own country and get the heck out of the land of the free and stop trying to enslave the rest of us with your religon.

You people are worse than illegal immigrants.

It affects me.

To give one tiny example, I can't legally purchase alcohol right now (Sunday afternoon) without first driving out of the county.

I don't really give a damn what you believe, as long as you can keep it separate from civic life. But you can't, as has been shown over and over. So it makes a difference.

Because the Christians don't...so someone has to question it, considering the way they aspire to influence non Christian lives.

I questioned the christian religion when I was six years old. That is why I no longer subscribe.
Even a six year old can tell the differnce between reality and fantasy.
So, why do so many christians question what I believe? Why should they care?

2007-12-30 17:41:37 · answer #9 · answered by T Leeves 6 · 2 4

Yes, you are just asking a question--------in a very antagonistic manner.

I find that so very many Christians seem to enjoy finding ways of blaming others when it is they, themselves, who are ''knocking'' those who do not believe as they do.
