...and there appear to be several of you out there tonight, please read Matthew Chapter 24 and give me your interpretation.

"Two men will be working in the field, one will be taken and the other left"

"they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory...and He will send His angels...and they will gather His elect...."

I ask you brothers and sisters in Christ - if that is not describing the rapture, then what is it exactly???

How do you interpret Matthew 24???

I have been looking through the deuterocanonicals a bit. The verses here in Tobit seem to say you can buy forgiveness of sins. Is that how it reads to you?

Tobit 4:11 For alms deliver from all sin, and from death, and will not suffer the soul to go into darkness.

Ok, so don't get too mad at me if I'm wrong, but recently I read in the bible that Jesus descended into Hel and ascended into heaven when he died. Why would he go to Hel?? I know he went to heaven but why was Jesus in the underworld for even a minute?? Could someone please explain this to me?? Thanks!

Doesn't this prove that you should believe in Zeus just in case to avoid the infinite pain of his lightning bolts?

And no, it's not the Bible. If I get enough "real" answers, I will trade any atheist to read your book for one of mine. For example, if the majority of you recommend Dawkins, I will read one of his books if all that recommended it will, in good faith (no pun intended, lol), read a book I recommend. Since I don't know which book I will be reading, I will hold off on telling you what you will be reading until later. Once again, it will NOT be the Bible. I will tell you either in an e-mail (to those that allow it), or I will post it in the Comments section after I close this question.

i am not that good in math and right now i have d's in both of my chemistry and math class.. i turn all my work but when it comes test time i never get it right..

In our office we use the same main door to get into our places of biz and my neighbor has put a plate of fresh fruits and vegs and a glass of water on the floor in the hallway.I ask her if it was hers and she said yes and leave it there.Its been there 3 days so far.She is of asian decent .I find it strange to have patients walk past this plate to go in my office.I dont want a fight so what do u think she is doing?
