Everytime we would talk in class involving christianity and the history it brought up in social studies or even in church I get this nervous feeling about it. I don't know why?

I honestly do believe in God I love God & Jesus.. Maybe b/c I don't read the bible?

This is the spirit of God calling to your soul. Jesus is knocking on the door of your heart, because he loves you. Because you are a woman, and more cognizant of such feelings than men are you have this awareness. Do not supress it. Surrender to God, open the door of your heart and soul and let Jesus come in and change your life forever for the better. Jesus loves you and wants you in his kingdom. Dont wait , come to Christ now! I am praying for you.

A few months before becoming a Christian, I experienced something similar. I actually felt alarmed about someone wearing a cross (this was before it was fashionable - about 30 years ago.) God may be trying to get your attention. And that makes the devil mad, so he's trying to give you a fear about spiritual things. Having you ever asked the Lord into your life? I did a long time ago and He has helped me and blessed me a lot. Here are some Bible verses to look up: Romans 10:13, Romans 5:8, Romans 3:23, John 3:16, Proverbs 3:5,6.

Well in a class setting religion can be uncomfortable to talk about. People have different opinions or views on it and many will not agree with what is said. Debate may arise or silence ensues..In any case whatever your religion is you can express your opinion and belief on the matter if it is welcome but don't be nervous about what you believe and hold to be true. Only you know why you get nervous about it..why are you asking others to put an emotion to what you feel yourself? We do not know what you are thinking that causes such nervousness. Find out why and overcome it..

Because people are so afraid of offending others these day that many people feel uncomfortable to talk about that stuff but God tells us to do it anyway so just pray for confidence and talk....soon it'll become natural! Good luck with this!

You don't state your beliefs. That would go a long way in explaining your nervousness. Are you a strong believer or an insecure atheist?
You should know that your mind is very powerful when it comes to bodily reactions.

Maybe, your just scared about the thought of it. The concepts are rather limitless and large, so being intimidated by them is normal. Also, try to notice if a specific topic of religion bothers you, whether it is sin, the devil, or heaven, etc...

probably because your not caught up on the subject. maybe if you study the bible or whatever materials you need to be prepared you wont be so nervous.

Probably because you know that discussion of religion often bring dissention and argument, and unconsciously, you hate any form of conflict, but especially religious conflict.

I don't know. Perhaps God is stirring up something inside of you. Perhaps he is wooing you. Perhaps he is calling to the depths of your soul. Or maybe you feel intimidated by confrontation. Why not pray about it?
