What's this whole AM thing? I'm not talking about ante-meridian, I know what that means. But a lot of Atheists seem to have AM by their name now. Does it me an "Atheist Ministry" or something? Enlighten me.

We hear on here all the time from most atheists that they are logical, rational, free thinking and open minded.

I say: 1 + 1 = 1

So atheists I ask you, am I illogical? Please tell me what you think, and give details on why you think I am illogical or not.

Is there any morality or ethics in a ruler who sends people to Hell for anything but the most horrific crimes?

Isn't that like holding a gun to a person's head and saying, "Do what I command and I'll let you live, don't do it and I will blow your brains out - but you have freewill and you can do whatever you want and I'll feel really bad about having to shot you."

People give thumbs down to whatever they dissagree. I even received thumbs down when I just stated real facts, undeniable facts. Do you think that's fair? If not, what kind of answers would "deserve" thumbs down, and to wich other kind of answers it is childish to give a thumb down?

I've been invited to have Thanksgiving dinner at my girlfriend's parent's house. They are non-denominational Christians and they want me to say grace.

They know I am atheist and they said I don't need to thank God or Jesus, but I need to thank someone or something for the food, family, health etc.

Who do I thank???

I was thinking of thanking a poultry farm for producing an unnaturally shaped turkey with overly large pectoral muscles.

Or maybe some illegal immigrants that are still working in the farms here in southern California for keeping the cost of produce low.

Or maybe the airline industry for keeping prices too high for me to fly home to my family on the other coast.

Fellow Christians-

Was the cyclone that ripped through India a punishment on the people of India for following false Gods?
I went to Afternoon service today and our pastor talked about this incident. He said that this is what happens when you reject God for your entire country. I asked him if he could give me another example, and he said that Tsunami that killed 2 million people 2004/2005 was clearly God showing his anger and the unbelievers.
Let's take a moment to reflect on our own salvation and the glorious God that God is.
