wow, this is a good question...I can't compare to some of the responses. I don't know if it is so much frightening as intense and generally just sucked. My friends and I had gone on a camping trip in the north Georgia mountains last november. We had a decent sized group, and decided to go on a night right and just cruise some country gravel roads. Some of my friends are a little risky, and on the way back to the camp site were playing around....driving fast....fast turns. I was in a truck in the front, just my friend and me, and we were booking it....seriously booking it....I'll never do that again kind of booking it. We got back to the campsite were stoking the fire back up, and the second truck shows up...My buddy who was driving says where's Justin? I said I don't know, we have been waiting about 10 minutes...he says something is wrong...and my stomach dropped. He starts hauling *** back where we had come from to find another friend and his cousin running down the road....my friend Justin died in those mountains that night. The initial 10 minutes when my buddy got back were some of the most frightening minutes of my life...

Oneday when I was 7-8 years old. My family was singing at church. We did travel around and sing at different churches. The Minister that night was a well know visiting Minister. He gave a great sermon. We came home, I went to bed. That night, I felt something over me. I turned to look and it was the biggest, ugliest, monstrous thing I ever saw. Our house inside was a + shape so you could go from room to room. I jumped out of bed and began to run and scream for my life. That thing was right behind me trying to catch me. Reaching out for me. Mom jumped in the car and raced to the pastors home, where by coincidence, the visiting Minster was still there. They rushed back to my house, and caught me and began to praying for me. Dad sent my little brother to the store to buy a 61/2 oz. coke a cola for me. I began to calm down. I was very very scared, sweaty, and nervous. Never have had that experience again. But I will admit, I get nervous in dark, dreary places.

The day back in 1989, when an intruder entered my home and I had to shoot to kill. For that brief moment knowing that I just killed a man. Police didn't press charges because I was in the right.
