how is the mormon religion different in africa than america?
are they only there to convert people or do they study there too?
ANYTHING you can tell me about mormons in africa would be FANTASTIC

I feel i got no one to talk to (i kind of don't) ....
...and last night i wanted to cry..
but was too tired and sleepy...
why? fam. problems... etc.
I want to talk to God... but,.. I don't know why i haven't...
my work isn't so hard and it don't get me tired...
but i've been feeling so sleepy and tired...
AND ...i do NOT...want to end up depressed.. or am i already?...

so yeah... i feel lonely :(

why cant he just perform miracles for everyone and prove to them that he exists? doesnt he realize how many people go to hell for not believing? and doesnt he realize how many people dont believe because they havent seen miracles?

I mean yeah he turned into Jesus, turned water into wine, etc and whatnot but that was several years ago. if he would perform miracles again then I would start believing in god. so why cant he just do us all a favor and prove himself to all of us?

I will be going to see my friends pastor, and i would like to have certain issues to discuss with him. I want him to explain to me for example, predestination, and evolution... What can i ask or debate over? What could i possibly ask him that might leave him without an answer or that might be difficult to answer?

I am agnostic.

I consider it to be education. We give catholics usable information that they can tailor to their personal situations. It's very different from therapy and much more than entertainment.

Are you careful here on Y/As? You know what Im talking about. I try VERY hard to be!!!!!!! This place is full of some dangerous stuff! So how careful are you????? I hope all JWs here take the proper steps to be careful here because I would hate for us to be reading some dangerous stuff here.... I try to skip it all, and I do a lot of blocking. So how careful are you? Sometimes I can't believe the questions that get asked here. Wow! We truly are living in the last days and we are objects of hatred! Many people tend to consider atheists and agnostics allmost the same, but in my opinion they are not. I am wondering stil, how agnostics are looked by atheists, what is your opinion on someone who thinks a higher power could exist, yet without making clear statements as if he knew for sure?

is the prophet's list of the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah?

I'm trying to explain to a friend how the story about Sodom and Gomorrah is not about homosexuality, but about inhospitality --attempted rape being a farily inhospitable act.

Somewhere in the prophets (Joel? Isaiah?) is a list of what God says were the sins of the Cities of the Plains and homosexuality is not mentioned there.

Can y'all help me?

I haven't had a gf ever. I am in my late twenties.

I pray all the time to find one. I don't ask for money or expensive things....just a girlfriend.

But everytime I like a girl, she has a boyfriend.

And every girl that likes me and flirts with me has a boyfriend as well.

Why does God and life want to play with my mind like this? Why is it that the one girl that is madly flirting with me has a boyfriend?

I won't make her cheat. I just want to know why God insults me like this when all I ask is for someone simply to love.
