why cant he just perform miracles for everyone and prove to them that he exists? doesnt he realize how many people go to hell for not believing? and doesnt he realize how many people dont believe because they havent seen miracles?

I mean yeah he turned into Jesus, turned water into wine, etc and whatnot but that was several years ago. if he would perform miracles again then I would start believing in god. so why cant he just do us all a favor and prove himself to all of us?

Too easy...He doesn't need you as much as you need Him as He is already in heaven and YOU'RE NOT! Being "Dust in the Wind," what an odd question to ask since "survival"...

(regardless of what is required like genecide, ethic cleansing, torturing others, destroying other people's lives)

is most valued in the "survival of the fittest" religion. What is life anyway?....but building a sand castle in from of the incoming tide of time where every bit of your memory will be no more.

The atheists religion can really cheer a person up in his/her time of need, right? Can you name Atheist song leaders people pay big bucks to hear these words of comfort?

"the best you can hope for is to die in your sleep."
"everybody's got a drug dealer on speed dial."
"What's love but a second hand emotion?"
"Everybody wants to rule the world"

And I didn't even have to get to the hard core rappers which verbalize the evolutionist's position most succinctly. Most baby evolutionists still get their understanding of their religion from Disney’s “Lion King” without doing any research about the “law of the jungle” in the jungle.

Lk 16:19"There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. 20At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores 21and longing to eat what fell from the rich man's table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.
22"The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried. 23In hell,[c] where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. 24So he called to him, 'Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.'

25"But Abraham replied, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. 26And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.'

27"He answered, 'Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my father's house, 28for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.'

29"Abraham replied, 'They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.'

30" 'No, father Abraham,' he said, 'but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.'

31"He said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.' "

Edit: jaicee, please get your terms correct. There is a difference between being "members" of a church because of force and being an actual "believer." Thank you in advance for correcting your post.

One thing that many (perhaps most) of the people Jesus helped had in common...faith. They believed that Jesus could help them...many based that faith solely on the word of another person. On the other hand, some of those that witnessed his miracles didn't believe. You say that if you saw a miracle, you would believe...I say that if you believe, you will see miracles!

People thought that the miracles Jesus performed came from Satan. If he performed miracles now every scientist in the country would be there trying to find an explanation. .

It's not his fault so many people go to Hell. He gives them a choice either accept him or not. You choose not to, because you think he is not real, then you shall burn in hell. If one of you guys is atheists or don't believe that God is real think again and pray to him, ask him to do something, but do it with faith believing that he will hear you and he respond what you asked him or do what you asked him to do. Miracles are so real, I've seen hundreds of miracles and I've done some too. Me and my friends started praying for a boy that had a disease that didn't have cure and now he all better because of what we did. Remember this-->> in some years EVERYONE is going to accept Jesus as his/her lord and savior nobody will be left out from his kingdom!! The time is coming!!

PRAY FOR THE PEOPLE WHO DON'T BELIEVE IN GOD DO IT!! YOU'LL SAVE MANY SOULS FROM GOING TO HELL!!

They still won't believe.
There is proof all around, the most visible is our sun and moon. From our view they appear to be the same size even though one is much bigger and farther away. Yes it is an optical illusion but a beautiful example of GOD's majesty. But the atheist will say its just a coincidence, but then the big bang and evolution theories relies mainly on coincidence. Praise the LORD.

I think the reason is because the bible says "This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.".

Not sure what that means, but that's the only reason I can think of. You may have to ask a pastor or something.

If you believe that God can and did perform miracles, why should he do that again just for you?

He did and does perform miracles, dear one. The problem is that too few people ASK and unbelievers are usually never near someone when a miracle happens to them.

God bless!

He did that when He came to earth in the form of Jesus. That's why we have faith. It's like studying for the test in advance, versus asking for all the answers as you walk into the classroom.

surely you know the answer to this? its because it would be too easy... because if that was the case, you wouldnt really be choosing him, would you? God wants us to CHOOSE him..... he doesnt want our love because we have no other choice....

think about it for a minute...... say, lets just say, you were the last man on earth..... you are the last hope for any kind of reproduction... and all these womed want you... you dont know if they genuinely love you, or if they just want you for procreation.... would you want someone who didnt love you? i know it seems like a far out comparison, but i couldnt think of another description.
