Mary and Joseph were to become married. Mary became pregnant with the Son of God, via Immaculate Conception. Joseph had the option, legally to not be with Mary, but God revealed to him the truth. God is Jesus' father, but in the functional family sense, Joseph was.

Jesus is the son of God, however, Joseph did claim the child as his. if he hadn't Mary could have been stoned. Joseph was told by an angel to take Mary and Jesus into his home. St Joseph is called the foster father of Jesus by the Church. the New Testament shows a situation where Mary refers to Joseph as Jesus' father, in the sense that he raised Jesus like his own, but Jesus knew he really wasn't. John also calls Jesus the son of Joseph, and Mark says it was supposed by men that he was, but really God's Son. Jesus is son of God, and son of Mary. Man and God.

According to a catholic nun, who did a TV program. The illigitimate result of the rape of a 12year old girl (Mary) by a jew serving with the Roman army. She even gave details of the soldiers name and his court martial and execution.
Of course failing this to be true, biblically Mary was the wife of god, as she had his child. Therefore Mary was in a bigamous relationship with Joseph, as the bible doesn`t mention her divorce from God.

the Son of God- Jesus essence was placed in Mary's womb, he already had a existence in the heavenly places....Jesus agreed to become lower than the angels. So that he could prove Satan a liar and deceiver, and that there would be some people on this earth, that would love Jehovah, not because of what they could gain from Jehovah, but because they truly loved Jehovah, and mankind so that they would preach to them the wonderful things they can experience by turning to Jehovah, recognize Jesus role in Jehovah's plans for man, after Adam and Eve lost their Paradisic home.
And experience true unity, compassion, and be loved as a family member, in the congregation

I think most of us know what you are imply and yea, if not for him being the son of God then you would be right. Also, if he was not, that doesn't mean he was a bad person. I think if you don't believe then that is fine, but maybe you should just concentrate on the things you do believe in.

The son of God. Except of course, if you desire to walk in the way of the religious Pharisees of the time, who called Jesus illegitimate. Personally, I'd go with the former.

That makes him the legal step father. Do you forget that someone had to be his providor?

I'm sure the three wise men were like the gang on King of the Hill to Yosef, and had no lack of moral support raising this step child.

However as to your other answers, I don't understand why the mistranslation would be about the virgin and Yosef, but how could any God, especially the God of Mariam Magdalene get her pregnant with his child. What would have happened to her mind. She'd be like "My God, and now my husband by giving me this child, but my god, but also my husband, but also my other husband...your father God, but also my creator, you are my son, but also my brother...".That's wrong.

The mistranslation must lie in that the virgin as a creation of that God, was given a prophetic child to carry who has no part of God, but has heavenly power, as why would God want to curse women to such labor travail because of Eve and then plant himself in one of his women creations and cause her to birth him in such travail, especially being a virgin. Being since all Church people call Yeshua God 'And' Yeshua 'And' their power combined.
How could this God just give 'himself' to an earth being to be his 'mother'. Does this God not already have a heavenly mother. See, well now he has two, and a step father.
