do you think in my lifetime (i am 16), i will live to see these two branches of christianity reunite after the schism in 1054? i think its very probabable. honestly the basic beliefs are the same, its just that orthodox christians dont honor papal authority, whihc started centuries ago when popes did idiot things. but now things are different and these people have never experienced papal jurisdition so maybe they will see its not like it once was. hopefully one day we will be one church like jesus wished

I think that there is proof that god exists because of holy artifacts such as the shroud of turin, the holy grail, the spear of destiny, the ark of the covenant, and so on. I have never heard of any archeological artifacts in hinduism or buddism that prove that vishnu or budda existed. are there such items?

Eight-year-old Marie Bentham hangs herself in her bedroom with her skipping rope because she can no longer face the bullies at school. Marie is thought to be Britain's youngest bullycide. Very very sad case indeed, are you willing to say that this poor little girl will go to hell as a consequence to her actions? She killed herself which is definitely wrong in the eyes of Jesus, the bible says so... is this case an exception or not?

Why are some Catholics so bothered by others receiving the Eucharist in their hand?

In understand that a priest's hands are consecrated at ordination, but since it is Jesus Christ, who we are receiving that makes us holy, can't I hold my Savior in my hands?

Is my tongue holier than my hands and fingers?

Imagine this scenario: Two of your children are hanging by the tips of their fingers from a 20 story building. I am on the roof of that building. The children are both pleading for my help and screaming that they cannot hold on much longer. I grab the hand one of your children and pull him/her up to safety. Then, I stand there and do nothing. The child I pulled to safety realizes that I am not helping the other child and tries to help his/her sibling. However, because they are only a child, they are not strong enough. They lose grip and the other child falls to his/her death. Would you consider me a just person? Or would you just say that I work in mysterious ways?

Genissis 1:26-28

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the

sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping animal that

creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and

female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said to them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the

earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every

living animal that moveth upon the earth.

Why are so many christians hell-bent on speaking so aggresively against gays, lesbians, other religions...why? Shouldn't you love thy neighbour? Isn't that what the bible says?

Fornicators, God-mockers, double-parkers, all of them are going to be forgiven because God is infinitely merciful. That means it's impossible for any mere human to sin so much that we could transcend God's infinite mercy.

We're all getting in, beeyachez!

Does it annoy you, after you've tried so hard to be good? Like studying really hard for a test where the teacher is just handing out A's to anybody who shows up? Or is virtue it's own reward?

I don't I just think all sin is wrong. There are some people that view homosexuality as a greater sin than lying. Neither will get you into heaven. What is your opinion?

Let's say Christian funded organizations like Focus on the Family and Southern Baptist Convention win their multi-million dollar fight with gays to deny partner benefits for their partners and children, force them to retreat back into the closet and live like they did circa 1950s, unseen, unheard with no recourse for discrimination etc.

Who will these groups target next? Even though I am not gay but a straight married mother of three, it does concern me as a non-Christian.

Since they set a precident that if something is considered a sin to them it automatically means it has to be inforced as public policy for EVERYONE in America, doesn't that mean that ANYONE who does not fit into a lifestyle they believe to be biblical will be under attack?

How can freedom of religion exist in such a situation?

Don't give me that in the name of the father, son , and holy ghost in matthew. Key word 'name'(singular). John 10:30, John chapter 1. What's going on? Is error okay, nowadays? Of course it is, look at those who believe in the Trinity. Get out of the clouds and get into the word of God. Seek your own knowledge because you are responsible for your own salvation.
