I think that there is proof that god exists because of holy artifacts such as the shroud of turin, the holy grail, the spear of destiny, the ark of the covenant, and so on. I have never heard of any archeological artifacts in hinduism or buddism that prove that vishnu or budda existed. are there such items?

there is probably a logical explaination for the shroud of turin. the grail, the ark and the spear have never been found. so therefore there is no proof.

buddha was not a god he was a man.

go learn something about him before you make such statements. OPEN A BOOK

It's kinda hard to trust what archaeologists say, because they can be doing it just for the publicity.
But I know some archaeologists do find actual ruins and artifacts.
For example, if it's an actual ruin or relic they've uncovered in the Middle East, that's been written about in the Bible, and is geographically correct, then odds are, it's probably true. Personally, I don't believe that there is any other gods other than God himself. After all, it says in the Bible that there is only One God. ( Ephesians 4 v. 4-5), along with many other scriptures that support that.
Therefore there can't be any others. Unless, it's what man has created.
I hope I've helped. =)

Yes, there are relics and the like from other religions that allegedly belonged to certain religious figures or deities. There's a tooth of Buddha, the countless "Sacred Trusts" of Islam (Mohammad's sword, etc.), Hindu relics, and so on.

Of course, this begs the question of why you think these artifacts (or more precisely, "your" relics) are proof of the existence of your particular deity of choice. There's an American fable that says Paul Bunyan and another giant wrestled on top of Arizona Mountain, until it crumbled to sand and created the Arizona desert. Does the Arizona desert therefore prove Paul Bunyan's existence?

al of the artifacts u mention have either never been found (ark of the covenant) or are fakes. Doesn't prove a thing.

The holy grail was "invented" by a 12-13th century fiction writer. Nobody lent any importance to that cup b4 that.

I'm only a human being with limited perceptions, just like everyone else. I trust God does exist, but not in any anthropomorphic sense that would be able to be proven or measured scientifically. This being the most likely reason for the ages old debate, I conclude that I cannot give any satisfying answer that would convince you either way.

hahahaha

the shroud of turin was carbon dated to the 1200's, the holy grail still only exists in legend, there are almost a dozen proclaimed "spears of destiny", and the ark of the covenant is....where? oh yeah...supposedly taken back by god. some artifacts you got there, sparky

"the shroud of turin, the holy grail, the spear of destiny, the ark of the covenant, and so on"

Where are these objects, Indiana Jones?

Artifacts are made by people. Do you really think if I made an artifact for the flying spagetti monster that would prove it exists? How about if I made an artifact of a dragon shield? That proves dragons exist? Theres a serious flaw in your logic here.

lmao. The shroud of turin has been proved not to be dated to the time of Jesus, the holy grail--the ark--spear of destiny--are not in the LIBRARY.
