I want to go, but my husband says we don't have the money and he's afraid of flying. But I have a while yet, I may talk him into going. . . .

Dear Sister,
I think its really nice to try and travelt o the conventions. You see and get to know so many different cultures and learn so much from the other brothers and sisters there.
I am 16 and have only ever been to one international convention which was in Sydney, Australia. I am from QLD Aust. yet it was still hard for my family to find the finances. Being there however made all the trouble of getting the money and time off work so worthwhile.
I dont think the questions is, which convention should i go to? i think its more, get to which ever one your capable of.
The warm christian love and unity is just as strong no matter where you are.

They have not announced or posted the places for the International Convention yet in our hall but thank you all for giving me a "peak" of some of the places.
I would definately love to go to Hawaii.... ! Oh boy! how exciting!
I guess no more International at the Long Beach Convention Center in California?

Oh yeah, I'd love to go to one. In 2003, many of my local bros and sis's went to the International Convention in Sydney. As I had just arrived in Oz (different state), I stayed behind and minded the pets and a house of my dear friends. So, I missed out on visiting the internat. conv then. I heard many beautiful stories though and saw some very inspiring photos!
So I am very determind to be at ANY of the international conv. in 2009!
My cong has not yet provided the selected cities ... waiting patiently!

It propably 95% money and only 5% flying, so you still have almost two years to work and save.
Theres no chance I could do it, but it sounds like the trip of a life time!

It's amazing how you ask a question that is directed to Witnesses only and u get people who don't like Witnesses and they have no clue in what your question is and don't get your question at all and they say ridiculeous things, but oh well that's Satan for you!
It sounds great I agree with Joslin but I wish I could go and I would love to go, but u never know I maybe there! I would love to go to Hawaii, But yes It's probably not likely to happen either.

I would love to one day attend one but for now I dont have the money to go! Disappointing. We have our next assembly on January so that's something to look out for!
Hope you and your husband decide to go. That's a wonderful opportunity dont let the fear of flying hold you down!

For me, I'm just staying here at the one in Long Beach, CA.
Its really awesome. Our International Convention has Japanese, Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese), Sign Language, Vietnamese, Tagalog, and Korean.

Honestly, I would really like to. I am not sure I'll have the time and money, but if so I think any of them sound nice. Hawaii sounds fun.

I want to go..but I am not old enough and my parents can't afford that right now.
I would have liked to go to the one in Mexico or Germany or Poland. Trinidad also sounded nice.
Hopefully when I am the right age I will be able to go! Yay!
