If so, what kind of prayers should be forced on everyone? And what type of church should people be made to go to.

There's more than one religion out there, ya know.

I know there are people that have been through worse than I have. So I am interested in knowing how you trust God.

I try reading the bible, that doesn't help.

I try praying, that doesn't help.

I try talking to other Christians, that doesn't help.

I have finally just walked away from God, and no, not doing really well with it. It just seems like everything is crashing down on me now, its a never ending battle everyday. I am weak, tired, exhausted, really need God to intervene and the more I attempted to trust Him, the more it blew up in my face and I failed and lost faith.

I figured it would be easier to endure this without Him instead of trying to understand why He isn't helping or acting in this.

In Buddhism, the swastika signifies auspiciousness and good fortune as well as the Buddha's footprints and the Buddha's heart. The swastika is said to contain the whole mind of the Buddha. I really love this concept, and i would love to get the counter-clockwise swastika (the Nazi symbol was clockwise) with Om symbol or a lotus in the middle... But me being white and my husband black, he thinks that people will automatically judge us (and think that Im a crazy neo-nazi) but I want it on my back and I doubt anyone would see it often... and if they did most people would ask about it and I would explain it to them, So the question being should I get it and not care about other peoples opinion of me?

For example: Let's say you want to know the answer to something, and you just get this feeling that you will find the answer by throwing a rock in the water. You do so, and then you see that the movement of the water in combination with the refletion of the clouds shows you a picture of your answer.

Scientists have just released probes which should confirm by 2025 whether there is any other life out there... Would it make you take another look at your religion? How would it fit in with what you believe?

Fossil fragments of an early species of hominid have been unearthed with rhino, giraffe, monkey, hippo, and antelope remains in Africa. Hominids are upright-walking primates including modern humans and extict and related forms. The new fossils are helping scientists piece together the earliest chapters of human evolution.

The research team said the fossils were of the Ardipithecus ramidus species. This hominid species lived shortly after hominids split from the common ancestor that gave rise to both chimpanzees and hominids some six to eight million years ago.

Hominids gave rise to a number of human and near human species, including the extinct Neandertals and the hobbit-like Homo floresiensis—and the only surviving species, Homo sapiens.

God is never wrong.
The Bible is the true word of God.
God does not change his mind.
Therefore all that is written in the Bible must always be truth and just.

Jesus said, "The Father is greater than I". John 14:28.
Yahwah himself produced me as the beginning of His way, the earliest of His achievements of long ago. From time indefinite I was installed, from the start, from times earlier than the earth. Proverbs 8:22, 23----36.

I'm asking respectfully. I believe Catholics, Protestants, and Orthodox are saved through Jesus.

Some people are full of mistrust toward the Catholic Church. Why do they accept the Gospels that the Catholic Church chose? There were plenty of other "gospels" in circulation. The Church could've altered them to "prove" their doctrines. In fact, not altering them proves the Church's faithfulness.

"By the turn of the 5th century the Catholic Church in the west under Pope Innocent I recognized a biblical canon including the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, which was previously established at a number of regional Synods, namely the Council of Rome (382), the Synod of Hippo (393), and two Synods of Carthage (397 and 419). This canon, which corresponds to the modern Catholic canon, was used in the Vulgate, an early 5th century translation of the Bible made by Jerome under the commission of Pope Damasus I in 382." -

It isn't easy to end up in hell, heaven built a barricade. An old wooden cross and rusty ole nails.

There is a cross in your way, a wall of mercy and grace.
There's just one way your soul can be lost, you gotta trample the blood, climb over the cross.
No it's not easy to stray, there is a cross in your way.

Proverbs 13:15 Good understanding giveth favor: but the way of transgressors is hard.

Transgression is rebellion, plain and simple.
Christian reading this, come home, He is calling, "come home."

Refuse to celebrate "pagan" holidays and birthdays because of their roots but DO take part in wedding traditions that have roots in "evil"....?? Some examples include:
Bouquet- Wedding bouquets were originally made of such strong herbs as thyme and garlic, which were meant to frighten away evil spirits.
Bouquet Toss- The Bride's tossing of her bouquet grew from her desire to offer a good luck souvenir.
Bridesmaids- Early Brides and Bridesmaids wore similar dresses in order to confuse evil spirits.
Wedding Ring- According to some historians, the first recorded marriage rings date back to the days when early man tied plaited circlets around the Bride's wrists and ankles to keep her spirit from running away.
Bridal Veil/Headpiece- A woman's face covered by a veil used to indicate she was spoken for. The bride also wore a veil as a disguise so that evil spirits believed to be lurking at the ceremony would not recognize her and do her harm.

PLEASE, no rehearsed answers you've been taught.

How often I have heard people say that. But where is the logic in that? Why must there be a Hell simply because there is a heaven? My only interest is an answer to the question not whether Heaven and Hell exist.

I am a new christian and still trying to clear my beliefs. Something that always confuses me is cavemen. One example: the Bible says God gave us different languages so we wouldn't be as powerful as him. Yet science and history shows that cavemen did not have a real language and over time people developed a way of communicating with each other. It's all so confusing and I was hoping someone could clear it up for me. thanks in advance
