Every one of us needs to feel loved.
He created us because of that? He had that need?
If yes... does He still have that need?

I believe he has never stopped needing and wanting to give love...
It's a mind boggling question...
It has been said that God has always been and will always be what he has been...
...but on the same note it also says that his mind can be changed, that he also knows what is going to happen...
How can you change someone's mind if they already knew you were going to change it???

God created Man in HIS image He wants and needs to be loved just like we do. And yes he still has that need.

If we Love God, He loves many many times more than we can love to God. This is for our own good. God wants us to benefit from His love, kindness and Mercy. God deserves to be loved more than any thing or person in the hole world because He gives us life, he maintains our life by providing oxygen, water, blood in body without which we can die in few minutes. We can never pay him back for what He gives us. Atleast we should thank Him and Love Him. In return He will love us more and bless us with guidance that will lead us to Heaven and will save us from wrong doing that may lead us to hell fire.

Well, it´s interesting to put it that way... Does God need to be loved? Hum...
I don´t think it´s a need but a kind of expectation... to be loved on his creation including man kind.
Love itself is creative, has a power within... a power that recreates, renews people and nature... a power that demands a reaction of the being that is loved...
This power somehow gives form and figure to the unit body and soul that we are, it makes us complete, it fullfilles us... so, imagine God constantly creating and renewing life who choses to act as he does... Wouldn´t us be a unique kind of creatures who can chose act like God? Wouldn´t be this the God´s offer to man kind? To love like he loves?
Wether God needs to be loved or not, love shows us his power and certainly reveals us our need to be loved and love. This is the only thing I can be sure of right now.

he does not need to be loved, much less by us. Acts 17:25
"And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else." he created us to have the choice of adoring Him

I don't think God needs to be loved, he loves even those who doesn't love him back. Loving God is a primary atribute of faith, you can not have faith or receive the benefits of faith if you don't love God, so I think loving him is a need that we've created, not something that he actually needs

As you just said, every one of us needs to feel loved, just like him. If a motehr and a father created a babys, they want them love back, So If God loves us, He wants us love him back.

I think that God made us for loveing each ather, and if we do this that means that we love HIM.You cann't love GOD without loveing humans.
