Well, the bible says that it grieved God that He created man because of the way they began to sin and commit wickedness. I would believe that it caused God to cry when a creation as lovely as man turned out to be so wicked.

I'm sure He does. Being God, in addition to being able to do anything he wants sometimes means that he will do"nothing," and I'm sure when he chooses not to do anything, and has a reason he can see, but we can't understand, that it causes him pain. It's mostly because he gave us"free will" in the first place that he doesn't intervene when things get out of hand.

Isn't that why it rains. Just kidding.

Seriously though, when Jesus was on the cross and says, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" I believe he was crying out of agony for what was happening to his son.

Jesus is God, and Scripture accounts that Jesus, as an adult, wept. Therefore, God does cry.

According to Genesis at the time of Noah, he regretted having made man and all life.

"And God seeing that the wickedness of men was great on the earth, and that all the thought of their heart was bent upon evil at all times, It repented him that he had made man on the earth. And being touched inwardly with sorrow of heart, He said: I will destroy man, whom I have created, from the face of the earth, from man even to beasts, from the creeping thing even to the fowls of the air, for it repenteth me that I have made them."

Genesis 6:5-7

Why would a god ever have need to cry? He's holding all the cards...supposedly.
