Vs. spending time with your family?
What have you done to keep available time that you'd normally spend with your children, just playing, not being completely overwhelmed by all the meetings and studys required to attend?
What is the norm. Is one parent a stay at home parent? Do both work, how do you handle 2 days a week and Sundays of long classes?

How long are the meetings. I know Sundays are a tad under 2 hours...........What about the meetings Tuesdays and Thursdays. (only been to a couple of those, but they seem to be longer than the original 45m to an hour that I was told).

Lemme try again...

If you believe you have spoken to, heard, saw, or felt God's presence, how do you think an atheist would explain it?

Why would Satan try and tempt him? Would that not be the same as attempting to temp a rich man with pocket change? What would be the point?

If the OT says the messiah's name was Emmanuel, how come the angel told Mary to name the baby 'Jesus'? The names do not mean the same.

I am going to cinvert to Judaism and I've been studying the Torah. It's fascinating! But I am unsure of what form of Judaism to join. My friend goes to a Conservative congregation. The Reform sounds interesting and is the largest I think. There are so many. Can I join one and attend other congregations? Also I'm Black and generally how are Blacks received in Jewish Temple? I still plan to convert but I'm just curiuos. Thans guys.

...If scripture says he was dead for 3 days and 3 nights? My theory is that he ate the Passover on Wednesday night, was crucified Thursday, and was dead from Thursday night to Sunday morning. That's the only way to get the 3 days and 3 nights. (Keep in mind that the Hebrew "day" began at sunset and ended at sunset the next day.) Also, because Wednesday was the passover, there was a High Sabbath that week. Leviticus 23:7 says that the 14th day of the first month is the Passover; the next day, the 15th, is the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, which is also a yearly sabbath; nobody works on that day, which would explain why there was a multitude clamoring for Jesus' crucifixion - nobody was at work. The weekly sabbath would have begun Friday at sunset. Jesus would have arose sometime between sunset Saturday and sunrise Sunday. What are your thoughts on this? Serious responses only, please.

If you are there why debate on foolish things. Let us together eat the body of Jesus the Christ, to devour his Words, as like we can not get enough to eat.

I hunger for the Words Jesus spoke, the Word of God.

same ability to think as we do, I mean in regards to any human in such a way that it had emotions, thoughts, etc. If it asked for forgiveness from Christ would it go to Heaven?

If you choose to say instead that it has no soul, even though it is identical in thinking to us, then what makes you think we have one?

Php 3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ:
Php 3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

I've been searching everywhere for information on the life color(or aura) fuschia. It supposably hasn't been present since the early 1900s, but a few very very rare people have been found to have it. I want to know if anyone can provide me with some info about it? I'd really like to know.

Why are you scared of Jesus? Why deny the truth? Jesus loves you and He is our soon comeing King. There is only heaven and hell. You will end up in one or the other. It's how you live your life. Live for Jesus you go to heaven. Don't live for Him there is only hell. Face the facts and have faith before it's to late for you. Life is short. Don't waste it living in sin and risk your soul going to hell. Accept Jesus so you can go too heaven. Praying for the lost!

To my LDS contacts, please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, and if you would be so kind as to put them on your local temple's prayer role. Thank you!

To my non-believing friends... I know you do not pray, but if you could keep her in your hearts and your thoughts, it would mean a great deal to me and my family as well!

To everyone else, any words of comfort for my family or words of support for my sister would be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance! *hugs*

There are soooooo many meetings and service and bible studies to attend, that my daughter's one extracurricular activity, will be squashed in between the Tues./Thurs. night meetings (her ext. activity willb eon Wed.nights), and every toher weekend, the kids go to thier dads.
I like the JW studies, am a little bit spooked about some of the stuff (transfusions and disfellowshipping, as I have kids, and what if they dont do right? Am I forced to completely ignore them? What happens if a accident happens, am I suppoed to watch them die), and am further discontented with the amoutn of time required at meetings.......I will have no time with my kids by the time I get off work, pick up from daycare, and go straight to meetings.............Help!

wouldn't that be considered a form of rape?
i mean after all according to the bible he didn't give her any choice in the matter.
