This is just a joke, I meaning to say you can't use the Bible for morality unless you cherrypick from it. And Christians who do cherrypick and claim they get their morality from the Bible are only telling have half the truth.

Leviticus has all the rules pertaining to owning slaves and how to treat them.

Leviticus 19:20
" 'If a man sleeps with a woman who is a slave girl promised to another man but who has not been ransomed or given her freedom, there must be due punishment. Yet they are not to be put to death, because she had not been freed.

Leviticus 22:11
" 'But if a priest buys a slave with money, or if a slave is born in his household, that slave may eat his food.

Leviticus 25:39
" 'If one of your countrymen becomes poor among you and sells himself to you, do not make him work as a slave.

Leviticus 25:44
" 'Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves.

Leviticus 25:46
" 'You can will them to your children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life, but you must not rule over your fellow Israelites ruthlessly.

In the KJV only the chozen ones (Hebrews) may own slaves.

LEVITICUS 25:44. Both they bondmen and thy bondmaids, which thou shalt have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you; of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids. 25:45. Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land: and they shall be your possessions. 25:46. And ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession: but of your brethren the children of Israel, you shall not rule one over another with rigour.

No. Romans 13:1 says, "Let every person be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. Therefore he who resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves." Slavery is illegal.

slaves? are u F-in serious?! You want the Bible to justify this? The Bible is a great religious resource to maintain faith in God, but it was written many moons ago and times have changed. Plus, they only preach words they think God thought. People thought differently in those times. We all know that having slaves is unethical and down right cruel. To even call a person your slave is wrong, let along wanting to buy one. If God could speak to you, he would tell you that you are nuts, along with sending a pleasant lightning bolt with his message.

If you think slavery is so wrong, and really care that much why don't you go to Africa and go help out over their, Warlords have slaves. go fight to set them free, instead of speaking worthlessly into the air. Otherwise this question has shown or deminstrated what a fool you are.
