And what if a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

Seek first the kingdom of God,
and his righteousness(grace)?

Are we talking Law vs Grace?
Perhaps as Leaven vs No Leaven?

A little cancer us law?
Won't it kill the whole body, including the head?

You guys sure do seem to know your stuff and seem to be on a better track than most. Forgive me for asking so many questions and seemingly judging(still not sure how to seperate the good from evil without judgin) I merely want to make sure whether I am being led to the herd or just another slaughter. I recently asked about the following and how you guys apply them:
John 20:28
1 John 4:2-3
Matthew 24:24
Deuteronomy 18:22
Gal 1:6-9
Rev 22:12,13,18,19

Some I already knew about, but was more curious as to what you would not answer. And it seems I didn't get an answer to Rev:22:18,19 about adding words to the bible. I realize your NWT was rejected by Greek and Hebrew scholars, and there could be some reasonable explenation for that. Also, I noticed while attending meeting that it seems the NWT has added words. Lastly, I see Jehovah's Wit. having claimed time and time again the end of the world starting in late 1800's and being wrong, yet it seems they continue to do the same.

CHRISTIANS, I am NOT an atheist.

I was wondering how can you cope in life with your sick beliefs that billions of people that did not prescribed to your religion will be burning ,tortured in hell for the end of times.
Why do you have such a low view of God?
Why do you think that God is a moron and sends people to be tortured for non -belief in your cult?
I am amazed how can anyone be that sadistic to hold such a belief.

It really makes me sick that in your way of thinking Jews , Muslims, atheists, Buddhist, agnostics, Hindus will go tot hell because they did not believe in Christianity.

It takes some really sick, vile, sadistic people to hold such a belief, I would be ashamed of it.

How are you doing this morning? I pray that you are all doing well.
In the past two days I have had two people tell me to "face reality" and that "reality hurts."
I didn't even hesitate when I said "God is reality."
Fellow Christians, there are those out there who will tell you to face reality. There are those out there that think that Christians are living in an unrealistic world believing in God, as you well know.
I have to say, DO NOT BE FEARFUL! Stand up for what you know is right! Say it loud and say it proud: GOD IS REALITY!
When hurricanes ravage our towns, when death and tragedy come into our lives, in the midst of pain, GOD IS REALITY!
God is in charge. He has a plan and He and only He knows what is to happen to us.
In Isaiah He says: Just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.
So when people tell you to face reality, tell them God is reality and is in control of reality.

I know I am opening myself up for a beating here, but I don't see why I should feel badly about my belief in God and Jesus.

Until 1400 AD, Catholic monks preserved the original purityof the Bible and made copies by hand. Everyday in the Holy Masses, the congregation attended both 'Breaking of the Bread.' The Bible was not available to common people as there was no printing at that time as it is today.

In 1453 AD, printing was invented. Copies of the Bible were made available. In 1517 AD, Martin Luther attacked the Church, but first he vandalized the Bible itself. To defend his dogmas, he threw out seven Old Testament books from the early canons of the Bible (Wisdom, Sirach, Judith, Baruch, Tobit, 1st Maccabees, and 2nd Maccabees). He planned to destroy even the New Testament book, 'Letter of James', which spoke against his doctrine 'sola fide' (man is saved not by work but faith alone). But James 2:26 says: " Faith without work is dead." When opposition mounted , he was satisfied, accusing this Epistle as 'Epistle of the straw.' So, the Bible that is used by Protestants, is partial, incomplete...

I read a few moments ago an answer about God, that is quite typical of many non-believers, this is it;

“That stuff is all BS. Plain and simple. So the question is not even valid really. No offense. Humans know nothing about God really, nothing we can be factually proven. Until then, I see every religion as a waste of time. That Father, Son & Holy Ghost stuff is a myth to keep people in chains.”

My question is, do you feel like you are in chains? Are you bound, tied down, held back by your faith? I’m not, I have never been happier than when the burdens of this world where lifted from me by my Lord and Savior. I have never felt so free in my life. I see the wonderful changes my Lord has made in my life, in the life of my family, my wife, our children, and our home. Now I see so many who will not accept the Lord in their lives, Now there I can see the chains. The chains of alcohol, drugs, family problems, the constant struggle with marriage, money, the hopelessness, the empty look in their eyes. I have family members who know the truth, but just cant seem to accept a new life without the burdens. So what chains are they talking about?

“O, Slaves of Zion and Amerika, Arise! The shaheed (martyr) who yearns to die, and has prayed for this moment all his life, has come to rescue you!”

“The shaheed, May God Be Pleased with Him, is not only the perfect soldier, but the perfect Muslim. All of life is preparation, and striving for, martyrdom.”

“(T)he Muslim knows no continents, regions, nations or tribes but acknowledges the existence of only two groups of human beings; men of faith---his Brothers---and the kaaffir (unbelievers and apostates), those ungrateful and rebellious beings that, like Satan himself, opted for disobedience. With the latter no compromise is possible or permissible, by Islamic principles.”

“Laa ‘ilaaha ‘illallahu must be on his dying lips that he may enter Paradise. Not by chance did Mohammed Atta’s ‘Instructions for the Final Night’ counsel him make these his last words before crashing into the World Trade Center. Amen.”

horrors of hell, I am so lucky my parents brainwashed me into this cult.
Ah, my religion religion teaches that no matter how good you are in life, if you are a jew, a muslim, a hindu, a budhhist, an atheist,an agnostic even if the most compassionate person ,you still will have to experience the HORRORS OF HELL.
My religion is so "perfect" and "just", yes it is so great I was born in the right country, in the right family, most of the people on earth will have to experience the horrors of hell, but not us christians . Can you feel the "love"?

who talks about God. They use words such as idiot or stupid. It's unbelievable.

The believers responses are subtle and not nasty except for their beliefs they get from the Bible. I've been reading questions and responses in R&S for a few months and I just noticed that.

I'm not a member of either cult.

I came to the above in my own way, not through the church. So I'm a regular guy but with deep religious vision. Seems to me that it's all more simple than the other folks would have me believe. Makes me feel a bit of an outsider at times, I'm on the threshold of the world and the church. Are you?

Preachers look at an Eastern tradition with Western eyes... and thus we end up with "Sacrifice for sins" rather than the "mercy, Not sacrifice" that Jesus actually preached. (Matthew 9:13)

Isn't Christianity in the habit of turning the teachings of Jesus upside-down?

We regulars know that the question "Why are athiests (sic) in the religion section?" (or some variation of this question) is asked here at least 10 times a day. Now, I just logged in about 25 minutes ago, but have already answered 5 questions that were directed towards atheists. Why do (mostly) Christians want us to leave, yet ask so many questions of us?

I'm pretty sure I know, but I'd like others' thoughts. Thanks :)
