I am a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. There is no such thing as a "secular, worldly Christian." Jesus tells us to be in the world, not of it. We are not all sons and daughters of God. Some are sons and daughters of satan. And angels are not "daughters" of God. They are created beings of God who serve Him. They certainly aren't feminine, the way they are portrayed all the time by this world. I wouldn't want to meet up with Michael, if I wasn't one of God's children. No, Jesus is NOT Michael! Jesus is God in the Flesh. God Bless!

How refreshing to see all answerers profess faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Not a sneering atheist in the lot.

I like your term "Jesusonian." We always need fresh ways to describe the happiness of Christianity.

As Christians, we are in the world, but not of the world. God has created us on a beautiful planet, and he has enriched our lives with many pleasures. Still, our home is not in this world, but in the world to come, the Kingdom of Heaven.

To arrive in Jesus' kingdom, we need to believe in him, be baptized, renounce our life in this world, repent of our sins, obey God, do what is right and just, adopt the humility of a child, eat the bread of life, forgive others, and endure to the end.

Cheers,
Bruce

I don't think I am either, I believe in doing my best to live spiritual principles. When I studied, I found what I thought was a spiritual truth. I figured if it was in one religion, it would be found, in all healthy religions. Something I discovered was that at the cornerstone of them all was the belief that we all need to love without condition, and that most religions believe in reincarnation. So I picked my way through the religions which had the God with many faces and names. This is which created what my faith is made of. As I found spiritual truths I found that I was able to have faith with more clarity and conviction. This gives me the opportunity to live as spiritual as possible. Well, I do my best, as well as we all stumble, and struggle which seems to be the lot in life for humans. My religion has no name, nor do I believe it fits any category.
Blessed Be

The bible tells us not all people are "Children of God."
Only the people who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior are considered "Children of God." (Verse 12)
(God's book, God's rules)

In the New Testament, the book of John tells us,
(John 1:10-14)

10 He was in the world, (Jesus Christ) and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.

12 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—

13 children born not of natural descent,[c] nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God. (born again)

14The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. (Jesus Christ) We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only,[d] who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Please note, that any and all people no matter what race, creed, color, gender or religous affiliation can become a child of God by believing what Jesus tells us in
John 3:16-3:21 (Hey, the more, the merrier in heaven)

16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[f] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.[g]

19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.

20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.

21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God."[h]

First, I want to say that I want very little from this world as it holds very little for me!

My sights are set upon Jesus Christ, my Savior as I seek to follow Him, in all ways.

I'm forgiven because He was forsaken....how could I not be a true follower? He loves more and deeper than any human can! Amazing love...it is my joy to honor HIM!!!

No. I don't honestly believe there are definite separations between the secular and the religious. At their fullest points, they differ, but at either end their differences are blurred and they overlap in concept and practice.
