horrors of hell, I am so lucky my parents brainwashed me into this cult.
Ah, my religion religion teaches that no matter how good you are in life, if you are a jew, a muslim, a hindu, a budhhist, an atheist,an agnostic even if the most compassionate person ,you still will have to experience the HORRORS OF HELL.
My religion is so "perfect" and "just", yes it is so great I was born in the right country, in the right family, most of the people on earth will have to experience the horrors of hell, but not us christians . Can you feel the "love"?

i have a fundamentalist father and half brother and sister- (he remarried)
i often speak with his wife about this- this is what makes some of them think it's ok..
they believe that when everyone dies, or when the "rapture" happens (oh jeeze) that everyone will be given the same chance to either say they accept Jesus in their hearts... or not- and then at that moment they are allowed into heaven or banished to hell. so last second- let's say for an example a very kind and loving Buddhist could make a change of heart- forget all the religious programming that he grew up with, and make the "only right choice" that will let him into heaven
it's really disturbing. it's a combination of programming and ego- which we ALL are suffering from- some more awake than others
all religions (among other social structures) work this way- the belief that "they" have the right and correct way- they may not threaten hell, but have an egoic sense of supremacy such as the belief of being "the chosen people" or that "God is on MY side"-
this is the basis of all war and separation.
we all need to wake up, stop judging and just Love- (not so easy)...but that is why we worship these saints, because they can BE the peace love and forgiveness that we can only recognize and strive to be, but rarely are.
i seriously doubt that Jesus himself meant- all people must follow me- consider me God and if not.. well- you lose! doesn't sound like an unconditionally loving and forgiving deity- and that's another thing- God has an ego? The all mighty gets offended? sounds more like human characteristics, don't ya think?

you don't have to experience hell come on this can't be true... but the "non-X going to hell thing" was around in the middle age where people fight to convert others... I don't think Christianity is saying something like this non of the religions does. I am a Muslim and all believers are considered Muslims if you dig in:) ALL equal. A good believer what ever their choice of religion will go to heaven. The distinction is between believers and deniers;)

I'm sorry...but you ARE NOT a Christian if you have not confessed your sin and accepted Jesus Christ as you Savior and Lord. Saying and acting any certain way does not make you a Christian. So..unless you are saved, you WILL experience the horrors of hell. Read your Bible. You claim to be Christian? Get your Bible out and read it. I will pray for you as you sound so bitter and unloving. You need the love of Christ in your life. I pray for peace in your life instead of such restlessness and bitterness. It's a horrible way to live, isn't it? These are my beliefs and my opinions. Please don't be offended as I do not mean any offense or bad feelings towards you. May God Bless You and give you many good things in your life.

I guess you skipped that part in the Bible about judging others, eh? That is also considered a sin.
And no, I do not feel ANY love from you or the Christianity you follow; only the zealousy you have for others to be thrown into hell.

You are lucky. I was raised the same way, until I started asking questions. I followed my inner moral compass instead of the preacher and an ancient text. Now I'm going to hell. How I have become so stupid when all I did was think for myself? You're lucky you let other people do it for you.
LOL, seriously though, good one.

Oh yeah, I feel the love alright. Now where's the bathroom? I suddenly feel the urge to hurl.
That is what most of the one's I've seen in here act like. It's freakish. Especially when they say that good works don't count for anything, but do anything bad, including not believe, and you will be tortured for eternity.... and then they say "God is Just". *Sigh* I've even seen some say that the "sin of disbelief" is the worst "sin"........... compared to what?????????????????

Greetings Friend,
I do. The love that I feel comes from God as does all love. My heart is full of love for you and for all my brothers and sisters, which is everyone. It really doesn't matter to God what religion one has, or to me. God loves all. I am so happy for you. I am glad that you have found God. Bless you.
sending love,

You are indeed a lucky person. It's good that you are aware of your good fortune, and I hope that you'll resist the temptation to smirk when people like me are led away to eternal torment.
And tell Mother Teresa that Christopher Hitchens says hi.
